We, who have been in the church for some time, must pass the baton to the next generation.
In a few years, I’ll be gone.
None of my material possessions will mean much.
The investment which endures is people.
What have I have deposited in young people which will enable them to carry the baton?
Have I deposited something of value for them to want to deposit in those who follow?
Is my deposit great enough that it will endure a decade or two, or a generation, or more, after I am gone?
