“My Journey to Africa” by Sarah G. Alvarez

This entry in as essay written by my daughter Sarah Alvarez as part of a submission to one of her college classes.

In 2005, my parents uprooted my family to Kenya, Africa. Living in a third world country proved to be an experience that changed my life forever. At the time, I did not realize how much of a significant part of my journey it would become, shaping me into the woman that I am today.

Needless to say, as you can imagine, living in a third world country was a humbling experience. From the moment you step off the airplane you are taken back by the poverty that the people of Kenya live in. Kids roam the streets without shoes, families live in small shacks, and clean water is a luxury. On a day-to-day basis, food is no guarantee. Health is an afterthought, and survival is the priority. Many people watch the news and hear the stories of a third world country from their own home, and have the comfort of being able to change the channel and forget about it all. However, it is another thing to immerse yourself in that environment and face the true reality of what it is to walk in the shoes of the less fortunate in Kenya. People cleanse themselves with unsanitized water contaminated with bugs and bacteria. It is a rare luxury to have a shower, and an even rarer luxury to take a hot shower. The toilets consist of a deep hole in the dirt, and if you asked a local from Kitengela if they had ever heard of a refrigerator, their answer would most likely be no. Even living there, I cannot say that I fully endured the poverty that so many around me did, but in my year and a half in Kenya I experienced just a small dose of what life is and always will be for millions of people.

Initially, moving to Kenya, I don’t think that any of us anticipated it to be as difficult as it was.  Leaving the United States with just your parents, three siblings, two Chihuahua’s , and just a few bags is no easy task. We were leaving a whole life behind us. A life that we were all so accustomed to knowing. A life where we had our friends, family, and even small comforts that I soon learned to never take for granted. As time passed, we adjusted bit by bit through the culture shock, but I would be lying if I said that there weren’t any days where I stayed in my bed crying. I was home sick. I longed to see familiar faces, and to go about with my normal routine which I had in America. I wanted to eat the food that I usually ate, and watch the television that I usually watched. Adjustment was the most difficult task of them all, and I don’t think that I would have been able to do it without my family’s love and support. We helped each other through it all. Whether that being my hilarious brother trying to go out of his way to make his sisters laugh instead of cry, or even just being homesick together, it helped tremendously.

Finally, the impacting realization that I took away from this experience, was that I came to see how grateful I am to be an American. So many of us take for granted the little things that I have already described. Whether that is food, clean water, shelter, or other basic needs. But more so, we take for granted the very country we live in. We often do not realize that compared to so many others out there, we have it amazingly well. We need to be proud of where we have come from, and most of all, be thankful for everything we have been blessed with.

All in all, the experience of living in a third world country shaped me into who I am today for a number of reasons. First, my year and a half in Kenya humbled me greatly.  It reminded me more than ever how important my family is to me. Also, it has taught me to never take for granted being an American, our rights and the freedom that so many others would do anything for. It is important to give thanks every day for what we have, big and small. There is so much to be grateful for in the world, whether that is family, health, or maybe even just hot water and food. But it is our job to never, even for one second, take what we have in life for granted.

The supreme profession is that of becoming one with the Lord Jesus. This union or oneness with God takes place by the process of transformation.  The transformation is that of “metamorphosis” or the same progression that takes place when a butterfly emerges from a caterpillar, which emerged from a cocoon.

2 Corinthians 3:18  But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Greek: But we all with our face uncovered (Though our faces have been uncovered at our conversion.

A believer that has an “open” face is who is yielded to the Lord and gladly obeys Him.  They welcome all that God has for them; their faces are opened to His dealings.

The person who has a “closed face” is one who secretly does not receive another, and is in opposition or disagreement with that other, judging them in their heart.

The glory of the Lord beholding as in a mirror (Quite the opposite to Moses who did not have a spiritual mirror to capture and behold the glory of the Lord that would thoroughly transform him!

The Old Covenant was transient and not permanent as the New Covenant inaugurated in the blood of Jesus Christ was.

Thus Moses covered his face, which had the passing glory of God on it. Christ is our spiritual mirror allowing us permanently capture and behold the glory of God that will thoroughly transform us, as long as our faces remain opened towards Him.

To that very same image which Jesus has are we being metamorphosed out of glory and into (the next level) glory, even as from the Spirit of the Lord.

The transformation that God calls us to is the progressive and complete extinction of our carnal self-life which has been our image, to be replaced by, as it is transformed into, the image of Christ,  the self- life of God.

The person who is conformed to the image of Christ has become a participant of the very life of God, and a channel for God to flow into the world.

Romans 8:29  For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed( Greek: To assume the same form) to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Rom 6:6  Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

That the body of sin might be destroyed.

That the body which is made up of sin (Our self-life) might break down and become useless and nonfunctional.

That henceforth we should not serve sin.   In the breaking down and the non-functioning of the carnal self-life we become released from the slavery or dominance of sin.

God has made every one to be an individual.

Every one of us has been created with a unique self-life that makes you, you, and me, me.  As people, we have been created into the image of God.  Because the image of God is the self-life of God, we were all created as individuals to participate in God’s life.

Our self-life rooted and one with God’s self-life, is for us to take part to very extent that God does Himself in the liberty, wholeness, love, joy, and wisdom that God enjoys, and makes Him God.

When sin came into the world our self-life was thoroughly infected by it. The first assault on humanity by sin was to sever our self-life from that of God, because God cannot entertain sin. The life, which Adam and Eve had lived in utter dependency rooted in God’s self-life, was in one instance cut off.  Man and woman became alienated from the life of God.

Ephesians 4:18  Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

Greek:  On account of the hardness of their hearts (towards God) there is a void of knowledge in them which has permanently separated them from intimacy and fellowship with the Lord and has permanently darkened their thoughts that concern God.

Man and woman, now live out of a self-life which is laden with uncontrolled lusts, devastating bondages, paralyzing fears and the deception.

As God lives out of His self-life, every individual life’s is the product of the self-life that defines them.

Because our self-lives have been corrupted by sin, our daily lives receive a never-ending flow of rejection, fear, lusts, and bondage from the root system of the self.

This is why people whom have not become born again are slaves to sin.

Romans 6:20  For when ye were the servants ( Slaves) of sin, ye were free from righteousness.

The purpose of the coming of Jesus Christ was to restore people to the exact condition which Adam and Eve had before the fall. When we are conformed to the image of Christ we are transformed to live out of God’s self-life once again.

To be fully conformed to the image of God we must love nothing else than God Himself and love only the things which God wills for us to love.  Our lives must devote to minister solely to God and wish with the strongest of love to become one with Him. Any ministry that we do is the sole outcome of our ministry to Jesus and what the Lord speaks to us out of those times with Him.

We must forget all things in this life that do not pertain to our union with the Lord and those things, which He wants to love through us.

The smallest love that we entertain outside of loving God and wanting to die completely to self to become one with Him, will impede our complete transformation into His image.  This is because any love that we harbor outside of God is rooted in our corrupt self-life.  Our self-life has no other sentence placed upon it than to die.

Any other love that we hold on outside of loving God and working out what He loves, feeds our self-life and prevents it from dying, keeping us in bondage.

Romans 7:18  For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.

Union with God will never be attained by our knowledge of God.  It is impossible to know God through our mental or spiritual understanding of the scriptures. Only through the simple love of God that I have described above can we become one with the Lord and know and understand Him as we take part in His very life and bear witness to it.

If we place our ministry, and our church agendas before our ministry to the Lord and our simple love to be conformed into His image, we feed our carnal self-life and will remain in bondage no matter how noble our intentions.

Our apostleship and ministry is simply the fruit of our union with the Lord, not the other way around.

 Romans 12:2  And <2532> be not <3361> conformed <4964> ) to this <5129>  world <165>: but <235> be ye transformed <3339> ) by the renewing <342> of your <5216> mind  <3563>, that <1519> ye <5209> may prove <1381>) what <5101> is that good <18>, and <2532> acceptable <2101>, and <2532> perfect <5046>, will <2307> of God <2316>

If you notice the numbers within the brackets< >, these are the numbers found in your Strong’s concordance that help you expound on the Greek word translations.  I encourage you to use them.

“Transform” or # 3339 is our word “metamorphosis”.

Remember the example of the lowly caterpillar being transformed into the beautiful butterfly.  Metamorphosis?  What about the tadpole being transformed into a frog?  Total and radical change!  Guess what?  That is exactly what the Lord desires out of our lives.

The death of ourselves on the cross and the resurrection life of our Lord within us should be so extraordinary, that we all become lovely and free butterflies for His glory.

Unrecognizable as a tadpole is from a frog because Jesus lives so big in us, should find us with no former remembrance of our “tadpolish” existence.  At least that should be our goal.

 Matthew 17:2  And <2532> was transfigured <3339>) before <1715> them <846>: and  <2532> his <846> face <4383> did shine <2989> as <5613> the sun <2246>, and <1161> his <846> raiment <2440> was <1096> white <3022> as <5613> the light <5457

The transfiguration of the Lord Jesus before the apostles?  Look at the Strong’s number. We see the same # 3339.  In other words, Jesus was “metamorphosed” before his disciples.  This type of spiritual transfiguration should be ours.  Then all men will be drawn unto Jesus.  Look at the next instance of metamorphosis.

2 Corinthians 3:18  But <1161> we <2249> all <3956>, with open <343>) face <4383> beholding as in a glass <2734>  the glory <1391> of the Lord <2962>, are changed <3339> into the same <846> image <1504> from <575> glory <1391> to <1519> glory <1391>, even as <2509> by <575> the Spirit <4151> of the Lord <2962>.

The “open face” in this passage defines the believer that is totally yielded and surrendered to the Lord. Only then is his face totally open and full of light, with no lurking sin or disobedience that will cause him to hide or close his face in shame or guilt to Jesus.

Let me direct your attention back please to our first scripture, Roman 12:2.  The word “conformed”(#4964) is defined as our word “schematic or drawing”.

Metamorphosis produces an inward change, while a drawing changes only the outward picture.  Paul then admonishes us, not to follow the world that will change only the outward form of our lives and that adversely, without producing a beneficial and permanent inward change.  On the other hand a life centered on God’s word will metamorphosise us from the inside out.

2 Corinthians 11:13  For <1063> such <5108> are false apostles <5570>, deceitful <1386> workers <2040> , transforming themselves <3345> <1519> the apostles <652> of Christ <5547>

 2 Corinthians 11:14  And <2532> no <3756> marvel <2298>; for <1063> Satan <4567> himself <846> is transformed <3345> into <1519> an angel <32> of light <5457>.

Look at the two previous highlighted scriptures with # 3345.  This Greek word is another off shoot of the word “schematic or drawing”.  We can see the perils of only being changed superficially.  The first scripture describes “wolves in sheep clothing” while the second one shows us one of Satan’s ploys.  In both instances there is no true inward change, but only the superficial alteration of something that eventually deceives.

Matthew 10:39  He that findeth <2147> (5631) his <846> life <5590> shall lose <622>   it <846>: and <2532> he that loseth <622> ) his <846> life <5590> for my <1700> sake <1752>  shall find <2147>  it <846>.

Look at the phrase “loseth his life”.  Simply defined, it means total destruction, laid to ruin, waste, and annihilation. Wow!!

Matthew 16:24  Then <5119> said <2036>  Jesus <2424> unto his <846> disciples <3101>, If any <1536> man will <2309>  come <2064> (5629) after <3694> me <3450>, let him deny  <533> himself <1438>, and <2532> take up <142> (5657) his <846> cross <4716>, and <2532>  follow <190> me <3427>.

“Denying ourselves,” tells us that we must lose sight of ourselves, and every one of our interests that do not glorify Jesus.   Only then can we be his disciples!

How few disciples are there really are according to Jesus’ stringent definition.  Scary!

Our Vision for America

Revival! Northeast!

John 9:4b “Night is coming, when no one can work”

For America, revival is no longer the option; it’s the requirement, and her only hope. America has entered a night without a moral compass. The compass was lost, when she stopped valuing God. Now, no one can work to bring America out of the night, except God. The key is revival, where God sovereignly works.

In 2007, Mary and I had a prospering ministry In East Africa, named Safari through the Word.

We lived in Kenya and ministered throughout the nation hosting Bible conferences.

We visited Uganda and Tanzania, and were courting invitations to minister in other countries.

In the midst of this God spoke to us; “I need you more in America than in Africa.”

At the end of 2007 we relocated to Miami, Florida.

Since then, we have been assistant pastors at Doral Vineyard.

The religious decline of America commenced in the 60’s when prayer and the Bible were removed from public schools.

Directly proportional to America’s rejection of God has been the loss of its moral compass.  Today, the USA is a ship agonizing on the waves of uncertainty, tossed to and fro by the whims of amorality and secularism.

The church has longed for revival for many years.

Today revival is no longer the option, it is the requirement, and America is ripe for it.

If the USA does not experience a spiritual awakening, I cannot imagine what she will become.

During trips to New York City to visit our daughter Lexy, God spoke about a coming revival to the Northeast.

We got connected with Pastors David and Sue Kim of Silver Springs Vineyard Church of Nyack, New York, forty-five minutes from Manhattan.

David and Sue have the same passion for revival in the northeast.

In March of this year we did four weeks of revival meetings at Silver Springs. Without advertisement except Face Book and word of mouth, they were filling up with folks not just from Nyack, but the Bronx, Brooklyn and New Jersey.

We saw a sovereign move of God.

During that trip we met with Pastor Greg Manalli, of Fellowship of Life Church, in Cheshire, Connecticut.

He has prayed for revival in the northeast for more than thirty years.

Pastor Greg showed us three paintings of a vision which he got in 1980’s,

In it the bellows of God blew revival winds into the New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts area with a great resultant harvest of souls.

The northeast is uniquely situated for a move of God which can touch millions at one time.  There is no other region like it. Boston, Philadelphia, New York City, Baltimore, and Washington DC, are all along the 1 -95 corridor and just hours from each other. Breaking revival in one area will quickly spread through this corridor.

Next year in March, we will move to Nyack from Miami to continue with this work of revival, as God shifts things into high gear.

Thank and many blessings.

One Of the Most Important Truths I Can Count On Five Fingers

And Preached Christ Unto Them

Acts 8:5  Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.

Acts 9:20  And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God.

I used to be troubled by scriptures such as these.  I could not figure out why and how, Phillip could preach a person instead of preaching about things?

Christianity was all about my relationship with Christ, and how He could impart eternal life, and innumerable amounts of benefits and blessings to me, and to a dying world.  How can you preach a person, I’d ask?

It was not until the Lord brought me in contact with the teachings of the great Chinese apostle Watchman Nee, did I began to understand why Phillip and others in the New Testament preached a person named Jesus Christ instead of things.

By the way, for anyone who wants to learn how to walk in the Spirit, may I suggest the writings of Watchman Nee. You can find his materials in many places on the web.

Christianity has little to do with blessings, miracles, or what we can get out of God.

By themselves these things are not wrong!  As a matter of fact, the Lord commands us to ask of Him for what we need.

However, if your Christianity goes only as far as having a give and take relationship with the Lord, where the focus is to get your prayers answered, or get things from God, you will be miss out on most of what God has for you.   You will be eating spiritual ground beef instead of the filet mignon and lobster that God has.

Today, I want to teach you what is one of the five most important truths for humanity.

Most believers, and most churches, never understand this truth, though the New Testament is obvious in presenting it.  Hence, through ignorance, the great weakness, the inability to overcome sin, the powerlessness over the lies of Satan, and the helplessness to be freed from the love of the world, continues to plague Christians to the ends of the earth.

Christianity has little to with our obtaining of blessings, miracles, or answered requests.

Satan has successfully deceived the church, to divert it from understanding and valuing the supreme importance of the revelation of the Son of God in its midst.  The fault is mainly ours!  Our obedience to God is shallow, compromised, and limited; our knowledge of the Word of God is very poor at best.

Secondly, we have been deceived to allow the second most important truth in Christianity to slip right through our hands!

Do you understand the cross of Christ?

Christ is God’s Treasure Chest

Col 2:3 In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

Ephesians 3:8  Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

If Christ is God’s treasure chest He must contain treasures INSIDE OF HIM, correct?

What kind of treasures can we expect to find inside of Him or “In Him”, as the Apostle Paul says?

Colossians 1:20  And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto( INTO) himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

God the Father will reconcile and harmonize the universe into Christ, at His appointed time.

Reconciliation is the tripate word, “apokatallaso”. That is, to restore something thoroughly to the condition that it was in. Christ’s work allows humanity and the universe to be restored the condition that it had before sin came and marred everything. So restoration comes by a Person and not blessings.

Eph 1:3  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all  spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

Every last and tiniest “God given” blessing, which God, the Father, desires to give to the church, resides inside or In Christ,

Col 2:9  For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

The fullness of the Trinity dwells inside the Person of Christ

Eph 1:20  Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

21  Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

Inside of Christ reside all accomplished victories, and hence all bestowed authority over the demonic, earthly, and angelic hierarchy of leadership.

Christ has that same authority over “every name that is named”.  These include the name of sicknesses, circumstances, and so forth, for all eternity.

So where does this “Christ laden with treasures inside of Him” live?  He lives inside of us. We not only possess Christ, but we possess all the immense and invaluable treasures, inside of us too.

This is the one thing devil is absolutely terrified of, and he does a good job keep the church’s’ attention diverted from this.

 How Does the Church Function?

Suppose that you and your family go on vacation to a beautiful secluded island in the Caribbean.

One morning, meandering through the ivory color sands, rusty corner of barely protruding object grabs you attention.  You uncover a tarnished treasure chest hidden by English pirates.

When you break open the chest you find it loaded and overflowing with pounds of gold and silver bars, precious gems, brilliant stones, huge diamonds, superb rubies, exquisite rings, brooches, and more.

Let me ask you?

Is it more logical to have you and your sons close and secure the chest, grab it by the handles and wheel it so that you can forever enjoy it and use it as you have need?  That is one alternative!

However, you chose to sit for hours under the scorching sun of cloudless Caribbean skies, and laboriously search through the chest for items of jewelry that your family needs.

You dig and pull out jewelry, breaking your nails and cutting your hands.

Finally quit the process totally exhausted.  In a deep frustration and an awful consumption of time, your family finds the fifteen or twenty pieces that they need.  You leave the treasure chest in the sand, nearly full with hundreds pieces of jewelry now discarded around it, book a passage on a local sea plane, and go home.

Would you agree that this family acted it in total ignorance and stupidity!  Yet this is a perfect description of the church, and its relationship to its understanding of the Lord Jesus.

It Is Not “Where is The Beef”, But “Where Is The Treasure?”

Inside the Person of Christ dwells or is hidden all of who God is, all of what God wants, and wants to give to the church, and all that God possesses for this world and for the next.

Here is the secret.

When Christ is revealed or manifested in us, all the treasures within or inside of Him will be manifested along with Him.

The more revelation of the Son of God in you, the more will be the revelation of all that dwells IN HIM.  It is an automatic reality.

The secret to the manifestation or revelation of the Son of God in us has to do with our unremitting obedience to Him.

The more that we obey God’s voice by His Holy Spirit, the more that Jesus Christ who dwells in our spirits will become revealed or manifested

The less that we obey God; the less will be the manifestation of the Son of God in our lives.  It is that simple!  It’s all proportional

John 14:21  He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

Remember; God has not given to us things!  God has given us a Person, His Son!  All the things that you need are inside of Him. This is a very important point!

We are always asking God for things.  God in turn wants to reveal His Son to us who CONTAINS ALL THINGS!

And His Son is only revealed through our embracing of His cross.

Heb 1:1  God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

Heb 1:2Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

God has spoken to us not in many blessings or miracles, but in only one thing, His Son.

1Co 1:24  But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

When we ask God to give us His power, in reality we are asking amiss.  Instead, God He has given us His Son!  Jesus is THE POWER of God.  Therefore when He is revealed in our lives, God’s power is revealed with Him, in Him, or alongside with Him.  The more that Christ is revealed in our lives, the more that we will automatically operate in the power of God.  We don’t need power; we need the Son of God to become a reality to us and the power will be ours!

1 Cor 1:30  But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made (or Has become) unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

This is because God has made or allowed Christ to become all things that we need.  This is huge!  Whatever you need, Christ has become. The more that Christ is revealed in you, the more that the thing which He has become is revealed alongside with Him in you.

Col 3:11  Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

God has made Christ to be all and to dwell in all. It’s not about asking God for things, but in asking God to reveal Christ in you. He is already all. He has already been made into all and has become all and is all.

1 Cor 1:5  That in every thing ye are enriched by (By or In Him) him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge;

1Co 1:6  Even as the testimony (the revelation) of Christ was confirmed in you:

1Co 1:7  So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming (The revelation) of our Lord Jesus Christ

The Greek grammatical structure is interchangeable here.

We are made rich in spiritual gifts.  Two of the gifts mentioned in this passage could be utterance gifts, which include tongues, their interpretation, and the gift of prophecy. The other is the gift of the word of knowledge, which God uses extensively in healing.

Verse six goes on to tell us that the enrichment or increase of these spiritual gifts is directly proportional to the revelation of Christ.

Verse seven tells is that if the revelation of the Lord is complete in our life, you will lack in no spiritual gift. The more that Christ is revealed in our lives, the more that we will automatically flow in spiritual gifts.

The gifts are IN HIM.  As Christ is revealed, the gifts IN HIM will be automatically revealed along with Him. Christ has been made or has become these gifts. God has not spoken to us in things, but in His Son. Everything that God has, dwells in Christ Jesus, and Christ Jesus has been made into all things, and all things that you need.

Re 19:10  And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony (The revelation) of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy

Observe that Jesus does not give us prophecies per se, though he does.

Jesus IS THE Spirit of Prophecy!  The more that Jesus is manifested in our lives, the more that we will automatically. Let’s look at one final one. He gives the prophecy, but has also been Made into the Prophecy.

Christ is God’s Righteousness, God’s Redemption, and God’s Sanctification.

1Co 1:30  But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

Christ has been made into righteousness, sanctification, and redemption.  Christ does not dispense these blessings!  He Himself is the blessings!  If we ask God to make us righteous, are prayers will be only half answered.  If we ask God to sanctify us, we have missed God’s best.

God’s righteousness has to do with the manifested or outward qualities of God that originate from His inward holy character.

Ro 10:4  For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

Christ is or has been made the end or completion of the 643 laws of Moses. The more that He is revealed the more that the completion of all that God wants to perfect you into is revealed.

Sanctification is the progression of our being purified by the Spirit of God.

Redemption is the process of our being rescued from the power of Satan, bondage, sin, and the love of the world.

Christ does not produce these things in us as separate blessings.  He has been made into these attributes.  As Christ becomes revealed within our lives, God’s righteousness becomes more and more of a reality in us.  It is automatic!  As Christ becomes more discernible in us, we a find ourselves more and more free from sin, bondage and the schemes of the enemy.

Rom 8:2  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

The law of the Spirit of Life that sets you free lives INSIDE of CHRIST. He has been mane into this law. The more that he is revealed in you, the more free you automatically become.

God Uses An Atheist As A Prophet To The Church

1Sa 17:24 And when they saw the man, all the men of Israel ran from him, and

1Sa 17:26 And David spoke to the men who were standing with him, saying, What shall be done to the man who strikes this Philistine, and turns aside reproach from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine that he should reproach the armies of the living God?

1Sa 17:34 And David said to Saul, Your servant has been one shepherding among sheep for his father. And the lion came, and the bear, and took away a sheep out of the flock.

1Sa 17:35 And I went out after him and struck him, and delivered out of his mouth. And he rose against me, and I took hold of his beard and struck him, and killed him.

1Sa 17:36 Your servant has struck both the lion and the bear, and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, for he has reproached the armies of the living God.

1Sa 17:37 And David said, Jehovah, who has delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, He shall deliver me from the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said to David, Go, and Jehovah be with you.

1Sa 17:44 And the Philistine said to David, Come to me, and I will give your flesh to the birds of the heavens and to the beasts of the field.

1Sa 17:45 And David said to the Philistine, You are coming to me with sword, and with spear, and with javelin. But I am coming to you in the name of Jehovah of Hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, which you have reproached.

1Sa 17:46 This day Jehovah shall shut you up into my hand, and I shall strike you, and take off your head from you and give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds of the heavens and to the living things of the earth this day. And all the earth shall know that there is a God for Israel.

1Sa 17:47 And all this company shall know that Jehovah does not save by sword and by spear, but that the battle belongs to Jehovah, and He has given you into our hand.

1Sa 17:48 And it happened, when the Philistine rising up and going and drawing near to meet David, David hurried and ran toward the ranks to meet the Philistine.

1Sa 17:49 And David put his hand into the pouch and took a stone from there. And he slung it and struck the Philistine in his forehead. And the stone sank into his forehead, and he fell on his face to the earth.

1Sa 17:50 And David was stronger than the Philistine with the sling and with the stone. And he struck the Philistine and caused him to die. And there was no sword in David’s hand.

1Sa 17:51 And David ran and stood by the Philistine, and took his sword; and he drew it out of its sheath and caused him to die. And he cut off his head with it. And the Philistines saw that their warrior was dead, and they fled.

A sign of God’s leader is one that when a nation cowers in complacency, passivity, fear, and apathy, God will find him or her ready to fulfill His purposes.

He will use His leader to deliver the nation and draw it back to Him.

It’s a tragedy that God can only find a few when the need arises.

There should be many in the body of Christ, but alas, it’s not the case.

Yet, God will not be short circuited.

He always reserves to Himself, those few, and works through them a mighty work.

God’s leader will allow God to perfect him.

He will repent of everything that God tells him to, and make himself ready for the great task at hand.

He will place himself in a place that through this repentance, can get the victory and breakthrough in everything, and thus make himself available to be God’s man or woman of the hour.

He will not wait for others to respond, for they may all be stuck in the apathy and complacency of Face book and technological entertainment.

Others are worshiping  America’s golden calf, Comfort!

A mark of God’s leader is one who gets sick and tired of the devil mocking the nation, God, and the righteous ways of life, that he is stirred to do what must  be done for the glory of God.

He realizes that if it’s only him, he will step out to help deliver the country, in Jesus Name.

I think that many in the body of Christ resist the move of the Spirit.

Pastors spend much time and resources ministering to them.

Lord, always send me to those who want the move of the Spirit.

God will turn to the young generation to carry out His work, if us the older one remain as spiritual fuddie duddies stuck behind the walls of our Christian ghettos.

I will not be left behind. I will be a father to this new generation.

God is looking for the nameless and faceless Davids who will deliver America from the demonic Goliaths who mock it. Where are they?

“The best answer we have to America’s ills can only be found in God.

And the best answer within the realm of God is a revival and awakening back to Him, where men’s and women’s blind spiritual eyes can see and they can pull out of the mess which the devil deceived them into.

And God is ready to spark revivals through nameless and faceless Christians all around the world, if they are ready to do anything and everything for Him.

The world is not against God, they are against religion.

Christians think that it’s an us against them war but it’s not.

Everybody loves to see power and glory, whom God is the author of.

Everybody wants to have a good time, whom God is the author of.

Everybody wants to have some fun and laugh, whom God is the author of.

Religion has made God into an old prune. He is quite the opposite.

Pure love, whom God is, can only dwell in joy, happiness and good times.

Isn’t that what people are looking for?

God uses the normal Joe and Jane equally to a Reinhart Bonkhe or a Billy Graham.

The church not only focus on them, but say, God send me, here am I.’
