How To Minister Like Jesus?

John 8:28  Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things

•  Holy Spirit ministry to be identical, can never initiate from us.

• Jesus said, “I do nothing of my independent and selfish self. As the Father has taught me, I prophetically speak (or also minister).”

John 16:13  Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

• The Holy Spirit will guide as a teacher; show the way and instruct you into all truth.  More accurately: Into every type of truth that pertains to us.

  • Therefore, don’t freak out. If you are doing the best to follow Jesus, He won’t let you go wrong. We’ve travelled the world with four kids in twenty years and God has never let us err.

• But whatsoever he shall hear; as many things that He will hear (NO MORE AND NO LESS), all these He will declare to you.

• And he will shew you things to come. The prophetically coming things the Spirit will rehearse and makes known to us. (JUST AS HE HEARD THEM)

  • God is not stingy with you. God is lavish, so relax and obey the Spirit.

John 5:17  But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto ( My Father never ceases working in the Spirit) and I work.(and I work externally, using exactly the same procedures and in exactly the same manner in which I see instinctively the Father working within me.)

• Worketh:  is defined in exactly the same way that a company strives to be successful in producing the services for which it is in business for.

• Hitherto: Until now. My Father has been continually at work, producing the services that pertain to the business of the kingdom of God in an unbroken flow, right through all of your Sabbaths; and even now as we speak, He works.

• And I work:  I, in like manner to the Father.

This is a tremendously important point of instruction for ministers who desire to flow in the Spirit.

• Jesus tells us that we are to WORK OUT into the world, what the Father WORKS INTO us with exactly the same intentions, intensity, and procedures used by the Father.

  • Our ministry must be a carbon copy of the Father’s ministry in us.
  • What we see the Spirit do inside us, we do our best to minister it out. Errors come when we try to add or take away from what God showed us because of the fear of man.

John 5:19Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth (To habitually glance at what the Father does in the Spirit.  This is not discernment with understanding) the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. (Greek word “homos”)

• Glancing in the Spirit to what the Father does, gives us that momentary intuitive knowledge, which, is enough for us to step out in faith and do with identicalness what we have seen intuitively in our spirits.

  • This is the key to ministry in the Spirit.
    • Our right to do so is based on the fact that we have an equal inner spiritual nature to that of the Father, giving us the same identity with Him in our outward actions.
    • We are responsible to work with identicalness to what we see on the Spirit.  This is what the term “homos” means.

John 5:20  For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.

• We have the ability to minister with God’s identicalness based on the different aspects of God’s anointing within us.

• For the Father is fond of the Son and shows Him all things that He does in a way that can be proven and for proof, and greater than these works will he show you with the goal in His mind that you may wonder.

  • And He is fond of you in the same way.

•We must know that continually, at all moments, the Father is exhibiting within us all that He does in way that we can understand and confirm what he says, and then manifest it outwardly as proof into the world.

  • Thus, we have nothing to fear. Just step out and enjoy Holy Spirit ministry!

E=MC Squared God’s Way

Let’s have some fun, but at the same time, extrapolate  powerful realities.

Eph 1:19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power (dunamis power) to us-ward who believe, according to the working (energy; energia) of his mighty (outward dominion; kratos) power (inner strength; ischus)

Eph 1:19  And what is the exceeding greatness of his (Same) power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, (external dominion power manifested from His internal resident strength)

In the cartoons of Popeye the Sailor Man, Popeye ate a can of spinach, which gave to him inner, inherent or resident strength.

  • This strength was manifested as bulging muscles exercised in outward dominion, or domination, which would wipe out Bluto, his archenemy.
  • God’s power performs in us in the same fashion.

Eph 1:19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power (dunamis power) to us-ward who believe, according to the working (energy; energia) of his mighty (outward dominion; kratos) power (inner strength; ischus)

  • The spinach is the revelation of the Son of God in us.
  • The inner inherent strength that the spinach gave to Popeye is called ischus. We see this word at the end of verse 19.
  • This strength was manifested as bulging muscles exercised in outward dominion, or domination. This is called kratos,
  • God’s dunamis power (or his manifested ability) is defined as the product of the dominion (kratos) that God exerts over His creation, and over all that is not of Him, as a measure of His inner, resident, or inherent strength ( ischus)
  • What Popeye ends up doing to Bluto, is manifested dunamis power, or power in ability.

Eph 1:19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power (dunamis power) to us-ward who believe, according to the working (energy; energia) of his mighty (outward dominion; kratos) power (inner strength; ischus)

So what is the measure of the power that as Christians we have in us?

Look at the Greek translation of verse 19.

  • What is the overcasting and transcending ability ( dunamis) of the same funneled into us who continually believe according to the energy put out as external dominion power (kratos) from his internal resident strength, ( ischus)

Let’s switch gears.

Faith is a law.

Romans 3:27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

  • A law says that under specific circumstances, specific results will always take place.

I can apply my equation therefore, but mind you, just for fun!

I know that the power of God is not simplified to such an equation, but there is truth to my madness!

(Ischus + kratos X energia ) X (confidence squared) = Dunamis power

Eph 3:12 In whom we have boldness and ACCESS with confidence by the faith of him.

  • CONFIDENCE in the voice of God is the great catalyst of energy that releases the gifts and the power of God.

This is why I have place confidence as (squared), or the quality which works exponentially.

  • The amount of confidence that we have in obeying God, or giving a word, or praying for someone, is directly proportional to the access that we will have to the anointing, the power, the gifts or to the grace of God.
  • Confidence by faith gives us boldness with God and most important of all, ACCESS to the things of the kingdom of God.
  • “ACCESS” in the things of the kingdom of God is the right to obtain or use or take advantage of something (as services or membership).
  • It gives us access to the ischus of God which will manifest as kratos.
  • Five minutes of prayer with absolute confidence in the voice of the Spirit does more than a month of praying in doubt!

Eph 3:12 In whom we have boldness and ACCESS with confidence by the faith of him.

Romans 5:2 By whom also we have ACCESS by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

 (Ischus + kratos X energia ) X (confidence squared) = Dunamis power

When God’s dominion power is functioning or being energized from his inner power by us….. BANG, everything becomes possible or able, and there is the manifestation of DUNAMIS POWER.

  • The great catalyst however is our confidence in the Lord!
  • Any incremental increase in our confidence will exponentially increase ACCESS to the things of the kingdom and to the process of the power of God just which I just described.

 (Ischus + kratos X energia ) X (confidence squared) = Dunamis power.

Access All Areas

There is excellent jazz group by the name of Spyro Gyra.

Their live album is called “Access All Areas”.

The word access is a fascinating one.

Everybody wants access to something.

Google dictionary defines it as the right to approach, enter a place, and have the opportunity to use or benefit from something.

Eph 3: 12  in whom we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him.

God is a God of mega access, who wants people to access the things of His kingdom.

The trick is that God’s riches are unsearchable because they cannot be accessed through the physical senses.

God has hidden them since Adam and Eve disobeyed and gave us re access when Christ came.

When the age of sin was introduced, man lost access to the things of God in the Garden of Eden. This garden was a physical representation of a portion of heaven.

Love shares all good things with the one whom is loved.  Love that cannot be shared is not love.

Every object in the Garden of Eden was flawless in its function, incorruptible in its nature, and eternal in its duration.

It’s funny that the Garden where Adam and Eve were at was called Eden. The word hedonism comes from Eden and is the doctrine that pleasure and happiness is the highest good. Eden means pleasure.

God kicked out Adam and Eve because of sin, and the rest is history.

Eden represents God’s eternal mindset for created man.

Gen 2:16   Yahweh God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat;

17  but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you shall not eat of it; for in the day that you eat of it you will surely die.”

God cannot give sinful human beings physical access to this heavenly place lest they access it in their sinful condition, corrupt its flawlessness by sin, and eat from the tree of life and become eternal sinners. What a dangerous position.

Thus God kicked Adam and Eve out from the Garden.

He also made it inaccessible by making it invisible so that corrupt men could not tamper with it for their own sinful purposes.

Can you imagine politicians having access into God’s invisible things?

When Christ came He gave man re access to all of these places, but only through Him and only by revelation. When He abolishes sin, access will come back through our physical senses but only in a sinless body.

God wants to give us access into all areas.

Jesus who has become all things, has become the access into all areas.

Not by might, not by power, but by His revelation.

Why Do People Love The Nursing Home

Rom 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man (palaios) is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Palaios “an old man according to age,” is defined as a toothless, 150 year old, cane walking, IV sucking, decrepit, dying, nursing home man.

He is also the cruelest of beings. He is a slave trader, and a slave master.

His slaves are all the men and women of this world, no matter what religion, color or age.

This old man is a sin producing engine. He keeps humans captured and blinded by releasing continual sin into them.

He knows that the only one who can kill him is Christ and His cross. Thus he deceives people into hating Christ.

One day, it will be too late, and along with this toothless man, many will go to where there is ironically the gnashing of teeth.

He has deceived humanity so that it spends trillions of dollars to keep him alive, beautify, exalt, cosmeticized and protect him. His only purpose was to be killed by the cross. Yet people would rather reject Christ and continue to keep this dude alive.

The old man is the sinful nature which every human being has. Only Christ inside the human can destroy him.

Yet mankind will do anything to keep him alive and well, before coming to Christ.

Ah, the price of keeping sin is in the trillions, and yet people will pay it forward until Christ comes back and promotes good politics.

The cost of sin is the crux of our national debt.

The way out of this financial mess is repentance.

But for those who want to get rid of this decrepit and evil man, Christ is always available.

But for many others the love of this decrepit and evil dude will take them to the wrong side of the grave and in not so nice of a place the humans’ eye will finally be opened and they will wonder why they loved the nursing home and the nursing home man.

For communication is not Face Book, its one on one and face to face.

I had an illuminating conversation yesterday.

This person confirmed things that I have felt from the Holy Ghost.

Facebook is the worst communication tool ever. Don’t use it for communicating anything serious.

Second to that is email, followed by phone calls.

The most effective way of communicating is one on one and face to face.

Any challenging situation subject to misunderstanding and volatility must be advanced one to one and face to face.

There are volatile issues which have been shackled to closed paradigms.

What is a closed paradigm?

These are explosive issues in which both sides have shut themselves to prejudging a situation around closed arguments, closed questions and closed responses.

Take the matter of the sexual schism plaguing our nation.

All sides have predisposed themselves to certain viewpoints which gender specific arguments, with the same questions asked and the same responses expected. Its “cookie cutter” communication.  Appalling.

If the answer falls outside of the closed expectation, accusations of hate speech, knee jerk reactions and eventual crucifixion fly.

Piers Morgan is a perfect example of a closed paradigm communicator.

This is why I will not go on his show.

The church is also guilty of painting the whole sexual thing with  a broad brush of black paint.

Jesus loves individuals, knows their individual stories, and encourages Christian leaders to know individuals.

Every story is different. Circumstances have been different.

You can only help people when you hear them as individuals

Mature leaders need at arise beyond the phenomena of closed paradigms.

In volatile issues I will not talk unless I can meet with the person.

For communication is not Face Book, its one on one and face to face.

How did Jesus find me in 1979? Did He subject me to a close paradigm or did He become a friend?

Every Christian Should Be An Entrepreneur

Why should I sign up for government health insurance? The web site and state exchanges are plagued with massive security breaches, information and data misallocations and personal data sharing without my permission. Give me a good reason.

“Going the extra mile can give you insight and a good reputation, both of which attract opportunity. Many obvious opportunities are found in places no one else has bothered to venture. If you put in the extra effort to make a good project an even better one, or you get to know your equipment better than anyone else on your shift, you will see things others overlook and be in a position to make use of them. Leaders who need a job done think first of people they know who will do it well. If other people respect you for the quantity and the quality of your work, you will find yourself advancing past others who regard their jobs as drudgery. For all the extra service that you’ve rendered, you’ll find yourself more than amply compensated by opportunities others never grasp.” Napoleon Hill Foundation

“Accountability is about release, not restraint. When we set people free, the liberty and support we provide should cause self-discipline. Self-control is the only acceptable form of control in the church.” Graham Cooke

“It is a peculiarity of human relationships that it is virtually impossible for one individual to have a lasting positive influence upon members of a group of negative thinkers. Usually, it works the other way. You cannot maintain a positive, productive attitude if you spend all your time with negative people. Those who have wrecked their own lives (and usually blame their misfortune on others) are not the kind of people who will help you achieve success in your own life. Choose your friends and associates carefully, and refrain from complaints about your job, your company, or any individual. Spend your time with positive, ambitious people who have a plan for their lives. You will find that their optimism is infectious.” Napoleon Hill Foundation

Great leaders are great risk takers. They do it by themselves but we do it by the voice of the Spirit. The greatest risk taker was God who risked His only begotten son for humanity’s eternal salvation. Without risk and getting out of your comfort zone, you will not reach God’s destiny for you.  Jose Alvarez

To live, think and act like Jesus is the singularly most important thing to do on planet earth. Yet, it’s also the hardest. No man has ever come close to the entrepreneurial abilities of Jesus. No man has ever come close to thinking out of the box like He does. Jose Alvarez

You will never experience how much God loves you, until you repent fully from every known sin. Unrepentance in any area, keeps an open door to the demonic placed over you. The attack of the demonic, competes with the love of the Lord, and hinders you from knowing that love.  Jose Alvarez

The greatest entrepreneur in history is Jesus. His ideas went beyond Steve Jobs. He brought new electronics, but Jesus, a new human race.  Jose Alvarez

The greatest and most successful people and you and I have exactly the same commodity. 24 hours in a day. The difference between them and us is their ability to use this commodity more wisely.  Jose Alvarez

For me the hardest thing, and what I’ve failed most at, is daily obtaining from the Lord, first in the Spirit, to then see it in the natural. My life has been plagued with double mindedness which has caused many lost opportunities to obtain by faith. This is so important that Paul dedicates Roman Four to it. Yet, I can’t regret the past, but learn from it, and know that God is the God if the umpteenth chances.  Jose Alvarez

Rom 4:3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

To obtain something that you did not previously have. The sign of true faith then is the ability to obtain something that you did not have. With great faith one should be daily obtaining new things from God. I have not done that but am pressing into it. Faith obtains clearly in the Spirit before having it in the natural.  Jose Alvarez

“When you focus your self-discipline on a single purpose, like sunlight through a magnifying glass on a single object, look out! The whole world will scramble to get out of your way, hold the doors open for you, and salute as you walk by.” Dan Kennedy. Entrpreneur.Com.

It is possible to go through life without ever accepting any responsibility, but such freedom from the cares of the world comes at an enormous financial cost. If you make it a practice to go out the back door when responsibility walks through the front, you will also miss out on the opportunities that always accompany responsibility. In almost any vocation, profession, or calling, your remuneration is directly proportional to the responsibility that accompanies your position. Make it a practice to volunteer for more responsibility or simply to assume it. There are times when you must get on with the task at hand without ever being formally told you’re in charge of it. If you demonstrate that you are a can-do kind of person, responsibility and the higher pay that accompanies it will come to you.  Napoleon Hill Foundation

Pneumatism

1 Thessalonians 5:23  And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit(pneuma) and soul(psyche) and body(soma) be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Heb4:12  For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul (psyche) and spirit( pneumatos) , and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

The role of the human spirit is generally a passive or inactive one.  The soul on the contrary is always active.  Our spirit works as a protective womb for the presence and the motions of the Spirit of the Living God within us.  It is very much connected with our hearts, and our consciences.

John 15:26  But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me

The role of our spirit is not to do, but to give an eye witness account.  Our homes have no other function but to house its dwellers.  The building is really of no importance.  The activities that take place within it are the ones of consequence what our Lord does.

We are “character witnesses who observe, and give evidence to the reputation, conduct, and moral nature” of the indwelling Christ to a dying world. (Meridian Webster dictionary definition).

It is only God’s activity that counts, and often it has little to do with ours.  Our busy activities many times get in the way of the Lord.  The body of Christ gets deceived because it does so much instead of just being.  Does a bottle work, or does it simply demonstrate what is inside?  God does need a lively Christian with a head full of bustling programs and agendas.  He needs a dead one that will display Him.  Remember, we are dead!  Christ is the one living in us.

The soul is a combination of our mind, will, intellect and emotions.  Its function contrary to the spirit is not to reveal, but to actively work and choose.  It is the mediator between our bodies and our spirits.

The soul is constantly involved in a struggle to choose between the promptings of the Holy Spirit and the promptings of our carnal flesh, our un renewed minds, the world, and the trickeries of Satan.  The Spirit of the living God within us, must become manifested enough to win the battle for the soul.

The responsibility of the soul then is to submit itself continuously to the Holy Spirit.  When it does that, the soul will take us in the ways of the Lord.  God must bring our will to a point where it has no more desire than to submit itself to the wishes of the Holy Spirit.

Our emotions must be healed and stilled before the Lord by the cross, so that we can attend to that “still small voice within”.

Immature believers, or believers that are still bound in the throes of demonic oppression or past hurts, are unable to discern clearly the quiet voice of the Lord within.  Because the emotions are still screaming out, they drown out the presence of the Lord.

All deliverance, inner healing, counseling, and therapy must be directed at setting us free to hear and uncompromisingly obey the Holy Spirit.  Healing is the means of becoming spiritual or pneumatic Christians.  Our mind and intellect must be renewed by the word of God so that it can adequately understand what the Holy Spirit wishes.
