The Tale Of The White Bunnie and Other Scary Events

When you depart from believing God, you fall into a life of unbelief and fear, with a need to control others. The government is a mirror of the people who elect it.

Happy Birthday 2013: America!

The IRS says, ” Its Absolutely Not Illegal To Target Conservative Groups”,

I don’t look at the news too much anymore. I happened to look at a short video of a congressional inquiry into the activities of the IRS and the IRS Commissioner Steven Miller. When asked if the activities of the IRS to target conservative groups was illegal, his reply was, “it’s absolutely not illegal.”

Folks, this stuff is hair-raising scary!

If you are not alarmed by these type of people leading you, maybe I can respectfully pray for you?

The Future Of The Real Media

Of all the talk radio personalities, the most thought provoking one is Glenn Beck. I cannot get my information anymore from the media, for its information is disinformation. As a matter of fact, I am getting my news either from tweets during a crisis, Face book friends, or fellow bloggers, just like me. The reality of who people are is not portrayed either by Washington politicians or the media. What comes out from these two sources is really something from another planet. Beck says that the success of the media comes in that a certain unity among it sources to transmit its disinformation. The Associated Press and the United Press international were created just for the purpose, to bring an association or unity of the media for the transmittal of information. Beck goes on to say that among people who wish to transmit truth, this association or uniting of sources does not exist. He wants to have an association of bloggers,  who are on the same page. Quite frankly, I believe that the future, and the future is now, for the transmittal of accurate news is in the hands of bloggers and tweeters. I don’t know what my part is in all of this, but it’s definitely thought-provoking. No longer can I look to the media as my source of information. I am praying and thinking.

If God Cannot Be Shared On the Battle Field, We Have Become Reprobate

If one’s faith cannot be shared on the battle field , where there is fear, injury, and death, we have either moved  into reprobate thinking, where good becomes evil and evil good.

We suffer from a great malady called, ” hardness of heart.”

Or we have entered the end of the end times.

Or its time for a revival!

The church has the answers and thus is rightfully a giant. Yet, it is a giant which woefully sleeps.

The church must wake up and assume the leadership which humanity seeks.

The church will be held accountable, if it does not wake up.

If for nothing else, such articles must get us upon our knees and pray.

If we are not stirred up, by such nonsense, our faith is not where it should be.

“To Be Seen and Understood And To Be Not So Very Lonely”: A Cry For Jesus Christ

This blog entry was written a few months back.

I don’t watch The Oscars or the Golden Globe Award shows.

For one, they are too political, and too filled with bad politics, if there can ever be good politics.

They are also either too scared or envious or jealous of Sarah Palin.

I say this because some at the Oscars have an obsession to imitate Sarah Palin year after year, as if they have an unmet need to be her!

Boring, or they must be bored!

This morning I perused through the media before praying, which  I no longer do, since it has lost most credibility.

Any media outlet that is obsessed with the trial of the Boston Marathon bombers, yet conceals the trial of a worse bomber, abortionist Kermit Gosnell, has no credibility left. Time to move on.

Anyways, I was seized by Jodie Foster’s words as she received the Cecil B. De Mille Award at the Golden Globes.

“But it will be my writing on the wall. Jodie Foster was here, I still am, and I want to be seen, to be understood deeply and to be not so very lonely.”

This was my un articulated prayer in early 1979.

Christ understands me more deeply than I understand myself.

If only Jodie would get that revelation.

“To be not so very lonely”

Ahh yes. I understand what it is to be so very lonely.

I was  an unmarried and  celibate Christian for nine years before my lovely wife Mary came.

But in that loneliness, Jesus Christ told me, “ Become married to Me.:

He took all my loneliness away to the point that I could have happily been single for the rest of my life.

The cure for loneliness is to be filled  with the Holy Spirit.

It looks like this is hers, as well.

Thirty four years later, I confidently affirm that Jesus Christ has impeccably answered it and even more, so much more!

He is my all in all.

My prayer is that Jodie will find what I found, for she will know that her desires will be fully satisfied, through my best friend and hers, Jesus Christ. Amen!
