Why Do People Love The Nursing Home

Rom 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man (palaios) is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Palaios “an old man according to age,” is defined as a toothless, 150 year old, cane walking, IV sucking, decrepit, dying, nursing home man.

He is also the cruelest of beings. He is a slave trader, and a slave master.

His slaves are all the men and women of this world, no matter what religion, color or age.

This old man is a sin producing engine. He keeps humans captured and blinded by releasing continual sin into them.

He knows that the only one who can kill him is Christ and His cross. Thus he deceives people into hating Christ.

One day, it will be too late, and along with this toothless man, many will go to where there is ironically the gnashing of teeth.

He has deceived humanity so that it spends trillions of dollars to keep him alive, beautify, exalt, cosmeticized and protect him. His only purpose was to be killed by the cross. Yet people would rather reject Christ and continue to keep this dude alive.

The old man is the sinful nature which every human being has. Only Christ inside the human can destroy him.

Yet mankind will do anything to keep him alive and well, before coming to Christ.

Ah, the price of keeping sin is in the trillions, and yet people will pay it forward until Christ comes back and promotes good politics.

The cost of sin is the crux of our national debt.

The way out of this financial mess is repentance.

But for those who want to get rid of this decrepit and evil man, Christ is always available.

But for many others the love of this decrepit and evil dude will take them to the wrong side of the grave and in not so nice of a place the humans’ eye will finally be opened and they will wonder why they loved the nursing home and the nursing home man.

For communication is not Face Book, its one on one and face to face.

I had an illuminating conversation yesterday.

This person confirmed things that I have felt from the Holy Ghost.

Facebook is the worst communication tool ever. Don’t use it for communicating anything serious.

Second to that is email, followed by phone calls.

The most effective way of communicating is one on one and face to face.

Any challenging situation subject to misunderstanding and volatility must be advanced one to one and face to face.

There are volatile issues which have been shackled to closed paradigms.

What is a closed paradigm?

These are explosive issues in which both sides have shut themselves to prejudging a situation around closed arguments, closed questions and closed responses.

Take the matter of the sexual schism plaguing our nation.

All sides have predisposed themselves to certain viewpoints which gender specific arguments, with the same questions asked and the same responses expected. Its “cookie cutter” communication.  Appalling.

If the answer falls outside of the closed expectation, accusations of hate speech, knee jerk reactions and eventual crucifixion fly.

Piers Morgan is a perfect example of a closed paradigm communicator.

This is why I will not go on his show.

The church is also guilty of painting the whole sexual thing with  a broad brush of black paint.

Jesus loves individuals, knows their individual stories, and encourages Christian leaders to know individuals.

Every story is different. Circumstances have been different.

You can only help people when you hear them as individuals

Mature leaders need at arise beyond the phenomena of closed paradigms.

In volatile issues I will not talk unless I can meet with the person.

For communication is not Face Book, its one on one and face to face.

How did Jesus find me in 1979? Did He subject me to a close paradigm or did He become a friend?

What drives you more, comfort, or hunger for the Word of God? This was our Bible conference in Masat, Kenya, home of Mr. Obama. In America, we complain that it’s too far to go to a church meeting. In Masat, there was no electricity. We rented a generator which was a luxury for the folks there. The children were so grateful to sing to an electric keyboard and microphone that they worshiped Jesus with them at 4:00 AM. The nights we were there, we could not sleep because of their singing. This is not a condemnation of the American church, which I am a part of, but a reality check? Could it be that we don’t see a huge impact by the church in the USA because we lack a spirit of sacrifice, when the Lord tells us to do something? What are you and I going to do about this in 2014? Has God given you a clear strategy to impact this country with Christ?

Cost

Mat 11:12  And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.

The kingdom of God is taken by spiritual violence and spiritually strong and forceful people from moment to moment snatch, seize it, and take it away as a precious bounty.

Rom 12:2  And be not conformed ( don’t follow the schematic drawing or the blueprint of this world system) to this world: but be ye transformed (metamorphosis; or attain to a complete and radical inward change and becoming a totally different individual)  by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove (only when we are radically changed can we then test, approve and possess for ourselves the mature, well pleasing, and good will of God) what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Transformation is the same word used for the metamorphosis of a tadpole to a frog or a caterpillar to a butterfly.  If we do not pay the price to affect that transformation, we will never be free.

Acts 20:24  But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

Of no account do I make or hold my life in honor, so that I may complete my course on the horse track on which I am racing upon with joy, and the ministry that I received from the Lord to testify fully and thoroughly of the glad tidings of the grace of God.

Philippians 3:12  Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after ( BIBLICAL WORD FOR PERSECUTION) , if that I may apprehend  (GRASP AND SEIZE) that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

I persecute, pursue, and overtake, in hope that I can grasp, seize, and make my own, all of what is contained in what Christ originally grasped and seized me for.

Philippians  3:13  Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

Therefore, I neglect and no longer care for what is behind me. I stretch myself out and towards, and run swiftly after what is before me. The direction being, the mark of the goal of the high price of unbroken fellowship of Christ’s resurrection life, and the hope of His calling for me.

1 Timothy 6:19  Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

Seize and grab to, pull in, and make it our own possession.  Eternal life while we are on the earth is the resurrection life.  It does not come magically to us but must be seized and pulled in though obedience.

Matthew 25:1  Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

Matthew 25:3  They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:

Took  from the Greek word to receive. To get, possess, and make my own. The foolish virgins did not obtain, and possessed the fullness of the Spirit.

Galatians 4:19  My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,

Gal 6:15  For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth(inward strength and force, to have strength to overcome health, ability, capacity) any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

Only Christ being formed and birthed in us is of any capacity or ability for us to overcome and get the spiritual victory.

Pattern

Heb 8:5  Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.
When Moses was about to build the tabernacle for God, God cautioned him to accurately construct it in accordance to a specific pattern that He would show him.  The Lord has a particular and unique pattern of ministerial construction for every local assembly, and every corporate and individual ministry.  In our Greek scriptures the word “admonished” is defined as “divine instruction according to revelation.” This is an exhortation for us to cautiously build our ministries step by step in line with the Holy Spirit’s wishes.
Every earthly ministry is as “an example and shadow of heavenly things.”   “An example”, is a copy or a model of the original.  Every ministry, which God calls us into, is the copy of an original which God has already created and dwells with Him in the heavenlies.  The brilliancy and the glory of these heavenly ministries create for us a shadow, or lets say an outline, for the ones who have been called to faithfully reproduce these ministries here on earth. The vast responsibility of all believers is to reproduce its heavenly original with the greatest of earthly accuracy.  The blessings of God will fall upon each ministry in proportion to how accurately it has been reproduced in “accordance with the pattern shown in the mount.”
One of the church’s great problems is that it has failed to grasp that every ministry has a “pattern shown in the mount.”  Because of this failure, we actively subscribe to, and create many   church activities.  Sadly enough, not many of them have much to do with any “patterns” that God has initially for them.  We sow much and reap little.  We will do much more by seeking and waiting upon the Lord for revelation, than in busily getting wrapped up in a host of church activities.

Intercession

1Tim 2:1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

Supplications- specific petitions concerning our needs and desires.

Prayers- General prayers made unto God

Intercessions- An interesting word that can be defined in a variety of ways. “Conference, encounters, conversation,” are all part of intercession.  We can describe it as the act of developing a relationship with a person as to become intimate with him or her, resulting in the ability to hold conversations with that individual.

Holding sustained and intimate conversations (intercession) with the Lord can only be the result of breaking through into the Spirit realm.

Paul describes the Spirit realm as the third heaven.

Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Helpeth our infirmities- The Greek tells us that the Holy Spirit comes face to face with us to take a hold together with us of our infirmities and frailties.

The Spirit itself maketh intercession for us – Greek: “To hit the target above and beyond what is normal.”  I.E. “to do the right thing and do it with skill.”

The intercessory ministry of the Holy Spirit, as He comes to take a hold of our weaknesses, is to give us the breakthroughs, answers, and deliverances that we need with bull’s eye accuracy.

Gold Biblical Nuggets From FaceBook

Luke 9:12 Now when the day began to decline, the twelve came and said to Him, “Dismiss the crowd, so that they may go into the surrounding villages and farms, and they may find lodging and find provisions; for we are in a deserted place here.”
13 But He said to them, “You give them something to eat.” And they said, “We have no more than five loaves of bread and two fish, unless we go and buy food for all these people.”
As the disciples, many a time we pray Jesus to do this and that for us. We hear Him say. “you feed them, you heal, you cast out the demon.” Rarely do we see Jesus pray to the Father in a ministry situation. He spoke to the malady. We will see lots more ifwe take God’s authority over circumstances into our hands, by His voice, and depend less on passively waiting for a miracle from heaven

Mark 7:34 Then looking up into heaven, He sighed, and said to him, “Ephphatha,” that is, “Be opened.”
Isa 35:5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. (tippatah)
I know that this is a technical explanation of grammar. But if we are to minister like Jesus did, and see results, we must understand what He did.
“Ephphatha,” says Alford, a Biblical scholar, is an Aramaic word. We see its Hebrew counterpart in Isaiah 35:5. He goes on to say, that Jesus use of it is in the Imperative hithpael. The hithpael, is the reflexive tense. That is something which acts upon itself. We see Jesus using the reflexive tense in the matters of faith. When He commands, he expects the situation to act upon itself and bring the results.
Be opened in Mark 7:34 is the compound to be “thoroughly opened,” not just open. He uses the aorist tense which is completed past action. In healings or miracles, Jesus utilized that aorist. What He commanded, He spoke it as being done.
This is vital because we pray for situations but in our heart doubt even if God heard us.
Finally, Jesus commands expecting the circumstance to obey, act upon itself, and bring the results.

Mark 7: 29 Then He said to her, “Because of this saying, go; the demon has gone out (perfect active) of your daughter.”
The perfect tense describes a completed event in the past, yet, with continuing results. The daughter was not even present, yet Jesus had the authority and faith to see the demon once and for all gone. This is the faith level that we must have, for we receive what we say. If we believe that something is done it will be. If we don’t, it won’t.

There is nothing which compares to having Christ subdue all sin so that you can get about the business of the anointing, the ever increasing wonders of the Christ and the ever deepening journeying into His mysteries.

The anointing is the throne of God’s glory. But for this throne to rule undisputed, there can’t be one competing authority in the guise of sinful pleasures.

Mark 6:33 But the multitudes saw them going, and many recognized Him, and ran together there on foot from all the cities, and preceded them, and they came together to Him.
When the power and miracles flow, we don’t have to beat people over the head with religious morality. They’ll come running on foot if need be. As the church, let us not worry so much about the state of the world as to becoming an absolutely free vessel so that Jesus’s miracles can pour through us.

Mark 6:13 And they were casting out many demons, and they were anointing (aleipho/ to rub) with oil many who were sick, and were healing them.
Notice that they did not pray and ask the Father to heal them. Jesus gave us the authority to do the healing. Jesus spoke to the malady and so must we.

Mark 6:12 And when they went out, they were preaching that people should repent.
13 And they were casting out many demons, and they were anointing with oil many who were sick, and were healing them.
The first sending out of the disciples was not to preach a gospel legislating morality, but doing the stuff that Jesus did. People are more attracted to honey than sauerkraut. The gospel is good, if not excellent news.

Matt 10:8 “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.
Comments – Note that Jesus had performed miracles of healing and casting out devils in chapters 8-9. Therefore, the disciples had been taught how to do it by this time in Jesus’ ministry. Jesus did not tell His disciples to pray for the sick, but rather, to heal the sick. They were to take the name of Jesus and take authority over every sickness and disease they met, without doubting any situation was too hard for the authority of the name of Jesus (Luk_10:17). Jesus Himself has been training the Twelve by demonstrating His authority over every realm of creation. He now expects these disciples to go do the same.” Everett

Mark 5: 43 But He ordered them strictly that no one should know this, and said that something should be given her to eat.
It’s obvious that Jesus always had an entourage of eye witnesses following Him. If I was there I’d be following Him. If for nothing else, to learn.

Mark 5: 42 And immediately the little girl arose and was walking about, for she was twelve years old. And they were overcome with great amazement. (ekstatis: ecstatic or ecstasy)
Literally the compound means “out of the normal standing”

Mr 9:50 Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another.
Lu 14:34 Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned?
Contrary to popular opinion, salt is good! LOL

John 5:29 and shall come forth–those who have done good, to a resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to a resurrection of condemnation.
Eternal type life which must be sought now, results in resurrection. The more we see seek this type of life, the more we’ll live in resurrection, right here and now.

The best way to ensure the repeal of a bad law is to enforce it vigorously.” Ulysses S Grant.

Spiritual gifts are vital and I love them. I have operated in them for twenty years. But more important than a word, or a healing, is the impartation of the eternal life which Jesus owns and which is in you. To impart life, your spirit man must be totally unobstructed from every unrepentant sin. One must be in full contact with the Spirit of God in them and God taps into this endlessly deep reservoir of Jesus life through them, to others

This morning I sought God in desperation. “Jesus why do I still feel so much opposing me. Is it a demon? “Then I saw Jose sitting squarely in front of me. God said, you still have part of Jose in a neat little picture. He is the one opposing you. It can only be Christ now. Any holding on to Jose is your greatest enemy.

If I want to have big money for the work of God, I must become a big giver. Receiving out of the box finances requires out of the box giving,

Letting go of my identity outside of Christ to sink into the ocean of His metamorphosis. Revolutionized into something which I am not, living solely out of a kingdom which I have not, where the old melts into the new, and the supernatural becomes the norm. Christ accepts everybody but who will go the extra mile to be metamorphosed into Him? This is Christianity.

“The word “revolution” is used in many contexts, but it is usually meant to describe an aggressive overthrow of a government structure or social construct or a massive sudden change in societal values. The thing that most sets these events apart is that the change is total. A revolution generally represents a complete turnaround from one way of doing things to another way that is usually diametrically opposite. “Wise Greek
I am not talking about a political revolution. I asked God why I don’t see the miracles that Jesus saw. I heard “revolution.” God told me if you will see a godly revolution your life must be a revolution or become revolutionized. This revolution is a total loss of our identity as we have known it to assume Christ’s, totally. As some mystic said, I am a little Christ.

Mark 5:41 And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her ( to her ), Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee ( to you ), arise.
In ministry cases, Jesus rarely asked the Father to do something. He addressed the person or the circumstances directly. Should we as well?

Mark 4: 39 And having awakened He rebuked the wind, and He said to the sea, “Be quiet, (present active) be muzzled! (Perfect passive) “And the wind abated and there was a great calm.
This is very important. We have what we say, if we can believe that what we say come to pass. Jesus uses the perfect passive with the word muzzled. This is the strongest tense indicating real, reality or existence. The perfect is a completed event with continuing results. Before Jesus had spoken He had willed it. Can you speak out things that you willed as done and manifested?

How amazing is Gods anointing. Someone like a Nichole Lawrence play three notes on her keyboard for 45 minutes and bring tremendous anointing and healing.

How privileged am I. In my spirit I have the Spirit of God living. He is the genesis, the nucleus, of all life. Gods Spirit is teeming with life in all of its forms, eternal in quality, creating, energizing, vitalizing. When I repent of every sin of which I am aware I am left in contact with this Spirit. Here is where God heals, creates, increases, and adds to me. The love of any sin will obstruct my contact with the fullness of this germinating life and bring death.

Mark 4: 31 It is like a mustard seed, which whenever it is sown on the ground, is smaller than all the seeds on the earth;
32 but whenever it is sown, it comes up and becomes greater than all the garden vegetables, and produces great branches, so that the birds of heaven are able to nest under its shade.”
The key word is when or whenever it is sown. Obedience will bring great results in the kingdom. The problem is when will we obey? Most of us go around different mountains of disobediences for many years. Yet God is saying, when you finally obey, you will see great things. I also hear Him saying, “But when will you obey?”

Mark 4:28 For the earth produces fruit of itself: first a shoot, then a head of grain, then full wheat in the head of grain.
“Itself”, is the word automatically.

Mark 4:26 And He said, “Thus is the kingdom of God as if a man should cast the seed on the ground,
27 and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and should grow, he does not know how.
From the seed grows a plant. The potency of the seed will decide the growth. God gives the growth. The potency however is at least partly in our hands. Our expectancy level to receive, in part measures the potency of the results.

Mark 4:25 For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath.
You would think that God gives to the one who does not have, but He ends up giving to the one who has. Of course God gives to the one who doesn’t have, but it all starts with having faith and having in our spirits, then the manifestation occurs. The poverty mind set, the one who does not have in his heart, will stay in poverty. The more you can receive in your heart, the more will be manifested. God is not a pauper. As the great singer, Gino Vannelli said, don’t be a pauper in paradise.

Mark 4: 8 And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred.
Yield: Is to give. When someone is giving, you receive. God is always giving. We hinder the process by not receiving, but becoming locked in the box of our mind.
Sprang up and increased should read shooting upwards and continuing to grow or increase. Both are participles. Shooting up and increasing. Both continual. This is how God is giving. Are we surrendered to the point where we can enter into this flow, or is holding to our ways short circuiting it?

D. L. Moody wittily said that Moses spent forty years in Pharaoh’s court thinking he was somebody; forty years in the desert learning he was nobody; and forty years showing what God can do with somebody who found out he was nobody

Mark 2:5 When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.
Greek: “thy sins be forgiven thee.” Your sins have permanently left far away from you so that they may no longer affect you.
Did Jesus heal, by healing, or by sending the evil far away so that what He had already done remains? Much of His ministry, I realize, was in sending away the evil. Should we see it as such?

Mark 1:43 And he straitly charged him, and forthwith sent him away;
Greek; “and with a serious admonition He immediately cast him out.”
Jesus on the cross immediately cast many harmful things away from us. If we’d see it as such wed be much farther along. Ahh, but human nature is so corrupt as to have a need to hold to the old and reject the new. I think it’s called, negative attention. May God help us all.

Mark 1:42 And as soon as he had spoken, immediately the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed.
Departed: From one physical location to another. Part of our problem with healing is that we don’t see by faith that the sickness has departed from us. We keep on holding it, though we confess that we have been healed.

Mark 1;9 And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in ( eis ) Jordan.
Interesting use of prepositions in this verse. The preposition “en” talks about location into something. “In the Jordan” should use “en”. Jesus was baptized in the location of the Jordan River. Rather, the preposition “eis” is used, which describes something as into. The Greek reads, “Jesus was baptized of John into the Jordan.” I think this better describes what biblical baptism is about. It’s the inauguration of being placed into a new condition. It’s simply not being immersed in something.

I can do nothing. It is Jesus who works through me by His anointing. The anointing is revealed in steps. It naturally carries the faith of God commensurate with the anointing. The anointing is revealed in proportion to how much we come to the end of ourselves. Great anointing is revealed to the one who finds himself impotent to carry out anything in his own strength and must get on his knees asking God to do it through him. Mountain moving anointing is revealed to him who comes to the end of his ability and plans a thousand times over, finds the whole world shut before him, and gets on his knees asking God to take him to the next s

The woman with the twelve year issue of blood getting healed is paramount in our understanding of the mind of God. Jesus had no intention of healing her. He was on his way to the house of the girl whom had died. Secondly, it was possible that this woman was superstitious and saw the touching of Jesus’s cloak as a magical icon. Yes she gets cured on the basis of sheer determination brought by her faith. So much with God is faith and all of us, I included, have such a paltry understanding of it.

Eph 1:5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

Adoption comes from two words translated as “son placing” or placed as a son. The word son is not a genetic child, but one who has the right to inherit all that his or her father has. By the privilege of “son or daughter placing” the child of Christ’s job is to inherit 24/7. The whole crux is learning to be a receiver.

Eph 1:19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
Exceeding greatness is God’s transcendental power, or power which transcends all. I am convinced that to know this power our minds must be thoroughly renewed in the revelatory Word of God. There must also be seasons of prayer and fasting to break every stronghold and release this power to move unhindered through us. There is no easy path and no cheap grace. But once you begin to taste this kind of power, there is no turning back. Its majestic transcendence drives you on.

“And It was so” This phrase is the tiny Hebrew word “Ken”, which is the modern Hebrew word for yes.
What does this tell you about God and the certainty of what He tells you as coming to pass?
Ge 1:7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. (Yes)
Ge 1:9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. (Yes)
Ge 1:11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. (Yes)
Ge 1:15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. (Yes)
Ge 1:24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. (Yes)
Ge 1:30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. (Yes)

Since leaving from Miami we have probably prayed for thirty people. Waiters, bartenders, people on the street, people at Starbucks. Not once have we been put off. The church has believed a lie that it’s an “us against them” mentality when it comes to those who do not attend church. The church has been dreadfully wrong. We’ve hidden in a corner, fearing the worst, when there is nothing to fear. People resist being converted or having religion crammed into them. But when you are yourself, when you are kind, loving, friendly, fun, and have a real desire to bless your neighbor and get to know him, no one is put off. We need to stop the programs and conversion techniques, just be yourself, enjoy your neighbor, be kind to him and bless him, Share what happened to you with Jesus, give him a word from Almighty God, buy him a coffee, get to know him and just enjoy his company. Relax, sharing the good news is a lot of fun. Share, don’t convert. Shine with Jesus, don’t try to convince.

Rev 2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
That overcometh. This is in the dative present. The dative describes sphere or location. The present; continual action. He whose life is one is located in world or lifestyle of continually pressing on to get the victory

God Answers The Atheist

I recently got into a conversation with a gentleman who is was a deep agnostic bordering on atheism.

He was a mathematics professor in a university.

I asked him, what it would take for him to believe. He told me that God, or if there is a God, would have to show him concrete and tangible proof of Himself.

We had been having Holy Ghost meetings. To my surprise, this man not only came to the meeting, but hung out with us way before the meeting began.

Jesus never chased anybody who did not want Him. Neither do I.

From the commencement of the meeting God came in with a tremendous bang of healing power.  In a matter of minutes many were on the floor visibly “under the influence” of God’s sweet love, if you know what I mean.

I prayed for everybody, except this man, wishing to respect his atheist’s views.

My beloved wife Mary touched me on the shoulder and asked me, “Are you not going to pray for him?”  I fumbled and said to her, “Oh, I did not think that he wanted prayer.”

I turned to the gentleman and asked, “Do you want me to pray for you?”  “Yes”, he told me.

I lifted him up from his chair and extended my hand toward him, being careful not to touch him.

The visible glory of God came upon this man as he stood with eyes closed. For almost ten minutes he stood there with his eyes shut.  I prayed, “Lord, give him the undisputable concrete proof of You that he needs! “I moved on to the next person but kept on glancing towards him. When he opened them, and his and mine met, he had a big smile on his face. What occurred, I have no idea.

Ten minutes later I had healing line of four people.  As I prayed, the man at the end of the line about 10 feet away, suddenly collapsed under the power of God with no one to catch him.

My atheist friend who had been comfortably sitting, lunged from the couch in a desperate effort to catch him. He caught the man and both fell on the floor with the man squarely on top of my atheist friend, in one big heap.

My atheist friend looked at me sprawled on the ground, a body on top of him. He had a big grin on his face.

I do not know if this was his concrete proof or not. Surely God is great and has a great sense of humor, though.
