The Anointing

1 Cor 2:11For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

“Knoweth” this discusses intuitive knowledge. Intuitive knowledge allows us to know that a girl’s dress is red. We don’t have to attend school to know this. This is gut feeling knowledge.

All spiritual gifts work through gut feeling intuitive knowledge.

Intuitive knowledge is an anointing.

Discernment works through this intuitive gut feeling knowledge.

One of the great sins of the church is lack of discernment. Discernment should always be working. The default position of the church should always be discernment.

Yet the church commits most of its mistakes by its not using discernment, but rather functioning by a social, cultural, or feared driven causes and not the voice of the Spirit. This is a huge mistake with many tragic reprisals. I have seen the church forfeit destiny time and time again by sacrificing the voice of the Spirit’s discernment on the altars of these things, and so far it does not seem to be getting better.

12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

Because we have received the Holy Spirit we have the same ability to have a perfect intuitive knowledge of everything that God has given to us graciously and freely.

“That we might know” is in the perfect subjunctive. The perfect describes a completed event with an eternal impact.  The subjunctive is not a guarantor that something automatically occurs. The subjunctive is an act of our will. Sometimes the occurrence of something will be conditional on the choice of our will. This is the subjunctive. Hence, though God has given us a perfect intuitive knowledge of all things which He freely gives to us, if we don’t exercise our will in obtaining them, we wons get tehm.

John 5:20  For the Father loveth ( phileo not agape) the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.

For the Father is fond of the Son and out of that fondness shows Him all things that He does in a way that can be proven and for proof, and greater than these works will he show you with the goal in His mind that you may wonder.

The word for love is not agape but phileo. This means to like somebody or be fond of them. Philadelphia is brotherly fondness.  So be comforted that God does not only love you, He likes you.

Know that continually, at all moments, the Father is exhibiting within us all that He does in way that we can understand and confirm what he says, and then manifest it outwardly as proof into the world.

“He who loves, hides nothing [from the object of his love]” Gnomom

1 John 2:20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.

You have a continuing unction or smearing. from the Holy One and know intuitively (in the same way that God does,) all type of things.

The unction, unguent, smearing, or ointment carried in the Christian is equal to Christ’s. All the anointing that we need for every circumstance comes from the resident ointment or unguent of the Spirit.

This is the call for the discernment of the church. For discernment to work, every social, cultural, monetary, or church related cause must bow its knee to the discernment of the voice of the Holy Spirit. If it does not, deception and error will automatically ensue.

The Gut Feeling Anointing

All scriptures copied from the “Concordant Literal Version.”

The “ Oida” Anointing

Oida is intuitive knowledge, or instinctual knowledge. It’s not the type of knowledge which is gained over time, as when one takes a college course,

It’s the knowing, that you know, that you know, knowledge.

Oida is the “gut feeling” type of knowledge.

Its how God speak.

Its how spiritual gifts function

It knows that the girl’s dress is red, by just looking at it. I don’t have to go to school for that.

God is always speaking to us 24/ 7 by oida.

Our success in the Lord to always operate in the breakthrough anointing is to catch the flow of the oida voice of the Lord and operate from it from second to second.

All of His promises in Christ are always yea and amen.

Operating in the oida voice of the Lord must be combined with childlike trust. Since you know, that you know, that you know; your faith must be likewise. You must have a faith that anything which the oida voice of the Lord tells you, you know that you know that you know, that not only will God do it, but that in fact He has already done it.

This kind of faith make God move more, and faster than hours of intercession.

The aorist tense is the “photograph” verbal tense. It’s a photographic snapshot of a completed event in the time line of history.

The perfect tense is a completed event in the past, something that you know that you know has happened, but with its results still very lively today.

Read for yourself some of the scriptural references where oida occurs and substitute the word you know, that you know, that you know.

Rev 21:1 And I perceived (oida aorist) a new heaven and a new earth, for the former heaven and the former earth pass away, and the sea is no more.”

Rev 3:15 ‘”I am aware (oida perfect active) of your acts, that neither cool are you nor zealous! Would that you were cool or zealous!”

Rev 2:17 ‘”Who has an ear, let him hear what the spirit is saying to the ecclesias. “‘”To the one who is conquering, to him will I be giving of the hidden manna, and I shall be giving him a white pebble and on the pebble a new name written, of which no one is aware (oida perfect active) except the one who is obtaining it.1Jn 5:20 Yet we are aware (oida perfect active) that the Son of God is arriving (eko- has reached the physical point of arrival as a Person in the Spirit), and has given us a comprehension, that we know the True One, and we are in the True One, in His Son, Jesus Christ. This One is the true God and life eonian.”

1Jn 5:15 And if ever we are aware (oida perfect active) that He is hearing us, whatever we may be requesting, we are aware that we have the requests which we have requested from Him.”

1Jn 3:14 We are aware (oida) that we have proceeded (metabaino/ a physical transfer from one place to another) out of death into life, for we are loving our brethren. He who is not loving is remaining in death.”

1Jn 3:5 And you are aware (oida) that He was manifested that He should be taking away our sins, and in Him is no sin.”

1Jn 2:21 I write not to you seeing that you are not acquainted (oida perfect active) with the truth, but that you are acquainted (oida perfect active) with it, and that no lie at all is of the truth.”

1Jn 2:11 Yet he who is hating his brother is in darkness and in darkness is walking, and is not aware (oida) whither he is going, for the darkness blinds his eyes.”

Joh 3:3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Verily, verily, I am saying to you, If anyone should not be begotten anew, he can not perceive (oida) the kingdom of God.”

Joh 3:11 Verily, verily, I am saying to you that of that which we have perceived (oida)  are we speaking ( prophetically) , and to that which we have seen  (discernment/ perfect active)  are we testifying ( giving outward evidence of what is in our spirits), and our testimony you are not getting.”

Joh 4:10 Jesus answered and said to her, “If you were aware(oida)  of the gratuity of God, and Who it is Who is saying to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would request Him, and He would give you living water.”

Joh 6:6 Now this He said to try him, for He was aware ( oida) what He was about to be doing.”

Joh 6:61 Now Jesus, being aware ( oida) in Himself that His disciples are murmuring concerning this, said to them, “This is snaring you?

Joh 7:28 Jesus, then, cries in the sanctuary, teaching and saying, “You are acquainted ( oida) with Me also, and you are aware whence I am, and I have not come from Myself, but He Who sends Me is true, with Whom you are not acquainted (oida).”

Joh 7:29 Yet I am acquainted ( oida) with Him, for I am from Him, and He has commissioned Me.”

Joh 8:14 Jesus answered and said to them, “And if I should be testifying concerning Myself, true is My testimony, for I am aware ( oida ) whence I came and whither I am going, yet you are not aware ( oida) whence I am coming or whither I am going.”

Joh 8:19 They said, then, to Him, “Where is your father? Jesus answered and said, “Neither with Me are you acquainted  (oida), nor with My Father. If you were acquainted (oida), with Me, you should be acquainted (oida), with My Father also.”

Joh 11:42 Now I was aware ( oida) that Thou art hearing Me always, but because of the throng standing about I said it, that they should be believing that thou dost commission Me.”

Joh 13:1 Now before the festival of the Passover, Jesus, being aware (oida) that His hour came that He may be proceeding out of this world to the Father, loving His own who are in the world, He loves them to the consummation.”

Joh 13:3 Jesus, being aware ( oida) that the Father has given all into His hands, and that He came out from God and is going away to God,

Joh 19:28 After this, Jesus, being aware ( oida)  that all is already accomplished ( tetelestai/ perfect passive), that the scripture may be perfected, is saying, “I thirst!”

Rom 6:9 having perceived ( oida) that Christ, being roused from among the dead, is no longer dying. Death is lording it over Him no longer,

Rom 8:27 Now He Who is searching the hearts is aware ( oida) what is the disposition ( mental focus) of the spirit, for in accord with God is it pleading for the saints.”

Rom 15:29 Now I am aware ( oida) that, in coming to you, I shall be coming with the blessing of Christ which fills.” (We come in the fullness of the God’s blessing)

1Co 2:11 For is any of humanity acquainted ( oida) with that which is human except the spirit of humanity which is in it? Thus also, that which is of God no one knows, except the spirit of God.”

1Co 2:12 Now we obtained, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God, that we may be perceiving (oida)  that which is being graciously ( lavishly and extravagantly) given to us by God,

1Co 3:16 Are you not aware (oida) that you are a temple of God and the spirit of God is making its home in you?

The I Am Anointing

Matthew 28:20  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you (I with you am (present tense) alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

The fullness of the essence of God in Christ as “I AM” is always found in the present and immediate tense.  God supersedes the dimension of time.

As with faith, in ministry, God’s power will not be sent to us in the future.  His healing will not take place in the future.  His fire will not be poured out upon us in the future. At the moment that He reveals that these things are for us in a ministry situation they are forevermore and immediately there. The “I” of Jesus is presently always with us in the am of time.

Mark 14:62  And Jesus said, I am (I am (present tense): and ye shall see the Son of man sitting(continually and constantly ruling and reigning….) On (Christ’s energy/ fuel source is power; the world in which Christ operatesis God’s power; andGod’s power does the work through Christ)  the right hand of power, and coming(continually and constantly) in the clouds of heaven.

·        As we live and minister in the timeless dimension of the immediacy of Christ’s continual “I AM ness”, His presence is always coming and is constantly present, in the sphere of God’s power.

·        His “I” always come sin the AM of time rooted in God’s power, continual ruling. and reigning.

John 8:42  Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came (Defined as :”Arrival” Christ is in a present and continuing and continual state of arrival ) from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.

·        “Came” – This uncommon word describes to come in its dimension of arriving or arrival. Christ has arrived from God into our world, or more correctly because it is in the present tense, Christ is in a continuing state of arrival, confirming the timeless immediacy of the continual now of His presence. It is imperative that we ask God to deliver us into His world of the dimensionless ness of time. As long as see God as doing things for us in the future we will never work in miracles.

John 8:58  (AV) Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

In the am of time Jesus always is in the mode of I

John 10:30  I and my Father are one. (Present tense).

Greek: “I and the Father one are” A perfect and continuous exchange of location in the father and the instrumentality of the father’s works back through Jesus.

·        The “I” and the “Father” are one in the same

John 10:38  But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.

·        Greek: That in THE ME the Father just as I am Him

·        The I being in Jesus allows complete accessibility for all that Jesus has. Jesus now in this I allows for full effectiveness of His power and so forth.

John 14:7  (AV) If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

·        From now on you know Him progressively and have seen Him with perfect discernment

9  (AV) Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

·        The one perfectly discerning me, perfectly has discerned the Father

John 14:10  Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in(Locative- in the world of) me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth (present participle- the continuing abiding in the world of the Spirit; necessary to produce miracles)  in me, he doeth(Present tense- the father performs the miracles in proportion to our abiding in the world of the Spirit) the works.

We have the timeless immediacy of faith at our disposal, as well as the continual and timeless immediacy of Jesus’ presence.  However, the continual and timeless immediacy of Jesus’ presence is also with the Father at the same moment that it with us. This guarantees the absolute effectiveness of our ministry, in that it is the Father who originates, energizes, produces and executes the works through Jesus. Christ’s presence with us in its timeless immediacy generates the works of the Father in their absolute perfection and effectiveness through us. This is because His presence is also in the timeless and continual fellowship with the Father.

The “I” in the Father allowing for access of all that our position in Christ has attained to.

The Father in ME is the I allowing for total effectiveness.

The Father which is now the ME does the works in the ME

·        Greek: The Father in or inside of “ME”, is.

John 14:20  At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

Greek: I in my Father, and you in me and I in you.

·        Jesus now teaches us that the believer lives with the Father and the Son in the same perfect exchange of location and instrumentality as the Father and the Son themselves enjoy. This is because Jesus lives in the world of the Father so that the Father simultaneously executes His works back through Jesus.

·        Now we also see that the believer has been placed in the world of Jesus so that Jesus can instrumentally work back His works through the believer. In reality God works through Jesus and back into us because we are in the world of Jesus and Jesus is in the world of the Father. The believer is God’s channel for God to take the invisible works of His kingdom and manifest them into them through Jesus and then visibly through them into the world order. The exact and same ability to do miracles just as Jesus did dwells in us.

John 16:28  I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: (I have come into the world system Perfect Tense)  again, I leave (I am constantly and continually releasing the world system)  the world, and go (I am constantly and continually journeying to  constantly and continually fellowship with the father) to the Father.

·        The perfect tense describes an event that has been accomplished and fully carried out in the past, but that its occurrence has an influence and an impact for us now and eternally forevermore. Jesus coming onto our world system is described in the perfect tense. His coming and presence for us is therefore in the timeless immediacy of the continual now. At the very same moment that Jesus is timelessly and immediately here.

He is timelessly and immediately releasing Himself from the world system to timelessly and immediately fellowship with the Father.

John 17:11  And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, which they may be one, as we are.

Greek: In order that they may be one (Present Subjunctive) in exactly the same way as us.

·        As the Son lives continuously from moment to moment in the world of the Father, the Father superimposes back upon those very same moments His works back through the Son. We must remember the timeless immediacy of the continual now in the workings of God.

In Jesus priestly prayer in John 17, He asks of the Father that the believers could work in exactly this very same fashion. The present subjunctive tense is one that emphasizes the will of the person.  In other words the believer is not guaranteed that automatically he or she will operate in the timeless immediacy of continually dwelling in the world of God so that God can continually work His works back through them.

Though positionally this is the true for every believer, the manifested reality of God from moment to moment flowing in His works back through the believer can only come as the believer out of his or her will dwells in the world of God from moment to moment.

·        To abide in Jesus is the same as living from moment to moment in the world of Jesus.

John 17:21  That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
Greek: that the may be one (Present Subjunctive) in exactly the same way that you Father in me, and I in you.

·        The prayer of Jesus is that the believer will from moment to moment live in the world of the Spirit so that the same perfect exchange of location in God and God instrumentality working His works back through them exactly as Jesus has with the Father, can take place in the believer. The believer has the same ability to work the works of Jesus to the degree that he or she lives as closely and dependent as Jesus lives in the world of the Father.

22  And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

Greek: That the may be one (Present Subjunctive) in exactly the same way that we one are (Present)

John 17:23  I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

·        Greek: I in them, and you in me, that they may become matured and completed into the same finished product manifesting our exact oneness; so that the world system might from moment to moment learn and know that you sent me into it with a mission, and that mission being that you loved them in exactly the same way that you loved me.

·        To the degree that every believer operates from moment to moment in the world of God of God so that God can simultaneously and from moment to moment work back through the believer will be the same degree that the church will become matured and completed in the oneness that the Father and the Son have.  This oneness as we have learned is the perfect exchange of Jesus being located in God and God instrumentality working His works back through Him.  As the church operates in this oneness with God, He then has absolute liberty to work His miracles in His church, revealing Jesus and His mission to love the world in exactly the same way that the Father loves Him, and thus drawing the world unto Himself through the church.

Gal 2:20  I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I but Christ liveth in me and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

·        Greek: Yet no longer I, but lives in the world that defines “ME”, Christ.
