“Oh, I get by with a little help from my Venezuelan friends.”

No, I am not promoting a USA military takeover of our Western hemisphere neighbor, Venezuela.

But I am disgusted by the actions, or should I say, inactions of our nation, with our good neighbor to the South.

I am baffled by the silence of the lambs in the USA.

It has deafened me!

As Venezuela sinks and rots, unarmed and helpless under the tyrannical fist of Hugo Chaves and Nicolas Maduro, our media is obsessed rather with the 500 theories surrounding the Malaysian flight, so many miles further away. Why?

Not a minute has been dedicated to the plight of Venezuela while hours of coverage are accumulated upon the missing flight.

Shame on them!

Our politicians, for the exception of Ileana Ros and Marco Rubio, are too busy with their Pinocchioisms, political game playing, and mega vacations!

Shame on them!

Has Maduro silenced us with cheap gas, or it is that our government is too socialist and secretly backs up this rule of despotism?

Has our media been ordered to stay silent?

I am reminded of the words of our Savior

Matt 22:39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’

Luke 6:31 And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise.

In other words, “what comes around, goes around!”

Let’s pray that we are not in real need one day, just like Venezuela, and she recalls our selfish ditherings and chooses to reciprocate and not help us.

Mournfully we’ll gaze up to Joe Cocker, sobbing,

“Oh, I get by with a little help from my Venezuelan friends.”

The Future Of The Real Media

Of all the talk radio personalities, the most thought provoking one is Glenn Beck. I cannot get my information anymore from the media, for its information is disinformation. As a matter of fact, I am getting my news either from tweets during a crisis, Face book friends, or fellow bloggers, just like me. The reality of who people are is not portrayed either by Washington politicians or the media. What comes out from these two sources is really something from another planet. Beck says that the success of the media comes in that a certain unity among it sources to transmit its disinformation. The Associated Press and the United Press international were created just for the purpose, to bring an association or unity of the media for the transmittal of information. Beck goes on to say that among people who wish to transmit truth, this association or uniting of sources does not exist. He wants to have an association of bloggers,  who are on the same page. Quite frankly, I believe that the future, and the future is now, for the transmittal of accurate news is in the hands of bloggers and tweeters. I don’t know what my part is in all of this, but it’s definitely thought-provoking. No longer can I look to the media as my source of information. I am praying and thinking.

The Sad Tale Of One, Abortionist Kermit Gosnell, and my Two Prayer Requests

I have been too petrified to read the horrifying accounts of what transpired in the abortion  mill of  one, Kermit Gosnell.

Countless late-term aborted babies born alive.

A number of babies killed by piercing the back of their necks and severing their spinal cords with surgical instruments after coming out of the mother.

Others dumped into toilets and left to drown.

Others dumped into a toxic liquid.

One baby screaming like an alien as he expired.

One mother dead.

I am not shocked. This happens daily in the abortion mills of America. It just happens that this guy got caught.

Very few Americans know about the ongoing trial of one, Kermit Gosnell, for the murder of babies and a woman in the fair city of Philadelphia.

The case went to jury yesterday.

Today is the second day of jury deliberations.

The media has refused to carry the case because of their own agenda, or maybe because our government who is bought by Planned Parenthood’s millions of dollars, has told them not to, or maybe because they receive “hush money.”

We are not sure, but some are demanding an answer from the media.

So far, “mum”, is the word.

So my prayer requests are two.

One, that God will give the jury wisdom, understanding, the fear of God, and the conviction of the Spirit of God to issue a righteous and correct verdict according to God’s will.

Secondly that one, Kermit Gosnell, will find repentance, forgiveness and salvation in Jesus Christ.

I refuse to publicly mourn for Sandy Hook and the Boston Marathon as long as this country does not publicly mourn the 3,500 Sandy Hooks and Boston Marathons perpetrated daily on unborn people.

Allow me to leave you with two quotes on this auspicious day.

“The conundrum of thinking with abortion. Mr. X is in my home. Because it’s my home, I have the right to kill him. But if Mr. X steps out of my door it becomes murder.”  Jose Alvarez

’”3,500 will be killed by abortion today; no media hyperventilating, no presidents crying, normal day” Matt Drudge

Let us pray!

Rick Joyner On The Boston Marathon Bombing

This is an important video by Prophet, Bible Teacher, and Writer, Rick Joyner, and his perspectives on the Boston Marathon Bombing.

The video is 26 minutes long.

I found it “eye opening” enough to post on my blog.

The Philosophy Of The Gaffe

Online dictionaries define a gaffe as an error, a social blunder, a tactless mistake.

Our media is fond of using the gaffe in describing much of the articulated speech of our elected officials.

It concurs then, that our political leaders are prone daily to many errors, blunders, and mistakes.

Wow! How comforting.

Those who are leading us, according to the press, perform their duties in a hit and miss approach.

Luke 16:10  He that is faithful in that which is least, is faithful also in much; and he that is unjust in the least, is unjust also in much.

Jesus said, if you are faithful with the little, you will be faithful with the much.

If you are unfaithful with the little, likewise you will be with the much.

Lu 6:45  A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

If you commit gaffes with your speech, you will make errors, blunders and mistakes in big decisions.

If gaffes salt and pepper your dialogue, they dwell abundantly in your heart.

If you heart is prone to blunders and mistakes, what kind of a leader are you?

Joh 21:18  I can guarantee this truth: When you were young, you would get ready to go where you wanted. But when you’re old, you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will get you ready to take you where you don’t want to go.”

These famous words Jesus uttered to Peter as He defined Peter’s approaching death.

If we are content to be led by those who are prone to gaffes they will lead us to where we don’t want to go.

And we are cool with that?

Many of us are.

I am a leader. I am distraught when even making one mistake.

I have a responsibility to those whom I lead, and will make my wrong right, to the best of my capacity.

Hardly, do I see one of these gaffes corrected.

They are applauded, glossed over, or joked about.

The media drools over them.

The people dismiss them.

Politicians justify them.

Yet, the mouth that utters gaffes is coupled to a heart of poor and unstable leadership.

Those who are content to be led by such men, balk at the notion of being led by The One who makes no gaffes.

I can only continue to pray for my country that Almighty God will grant sense and sensibility back to the American voter.
