Rom 4:18 Who without reason for hope, in faith went on hoping, so that he became the father of a number of nations, as it had been said, So will your seed be.
19 And not being feeble in faith though his body seemed to him little better than dead (he being about a hundred years old) and Sarah was no longer able to have children:
20 Still, he did not give up faith in the undertaking of God, but was made strong by faith, giving glory to God,
21 And being certain that God was able to keep his word.
This is Dennis. He is twelve. Dennis was born with hydrocephalus. This is a medical condition in which there is an abnormal buildup of cerebrospinal fluid in the brain.
Dennis is incapacitated, his head the size of a watermelon.
Most of the time he is not conscious, but still senses the pain. I’ve seen him wince.
Dennis and his mom live in Nicaragua. We have visited them twice. They dwell in poverty and are helpless to obtain required medical attention
But was impresses me is the faith of his mom. I believe her name is Isabel.
For twelve years Isabel has knocked relentlessly on heavens doors appealing God for a miracle.
Her faith has not weakened. Her gratefulness to God astounds me.
The love for a son that cannot respond back such a long time can only be that of God’s.
I post these photos not just for you the reader, but in hope that someone who has the means will be moved to help Isabel and Dennis.
This photo has thrilled my heart. It was sent today by my friend Rafael Rodriguez in Nicaragua.
On our last trip there, one rainy and muddy day, we visited one of the grimmest places I’ve been to.
It was the little hut of a blind mother, one blind daughter, and second normally seeing one. Enclosed within this tiny dirt floor shanty was a miniature room with a broken bed and a rotting mattress.
On the bed slept the seeing sister with her four kids and on the mattress the blind one with her three.
It thrills me that with funds that have come in, this beautiful home is being built for them.
This is the beauty of missions!
This is why I say that every Christian should do at least one missionary trip somewhere, no exceptions, and no excuses! It will radicalize your life forever.
I did not know that a friend of mine was shooting a video of our ministry at San Juan De Rio Coco, in Nicaragua. As a matter of fact, the whole afternoon went like this. Enjoy this clip of the power of Jesus Christ.
Would you join me in praying for these urgent situations?

A Heart to Love Ministries selflessly tends to more than 100 children with severe dysfunctions in different parts of Nicaragua.
It provides emergency care packages consisting of food, hygienic products and even small cash donations to their families.
My heart was touched by our visit to one of these kids, Dennis, born with hydrocephalus.
Dennis is generally unaware of what goes on around him.
I was deeply affected by Dennis’s mother.
She is woman not only of tremendous faith, but immense gratitude and humility before God.
I would think that she would be bitter after asking God for elven years for her son’s healing.
Yet her level of humility and gratefulness way exceeds mine.
Her faith mingled with tears as we cried together for her son was beautiful.
She has as much faith now as when her son was born to believe for his healing.
Most dysfunctional children who we met only had a mother, for the father fled when finding out about their child’s condition.
I was floored by the deep love that these women have for their severely dysfunctional children.
It’s a slap on the face of the abortion rights movement.
For these women, their children are not an inconvenience; rather they are their prized possession.
The love of God for humanity is visibly clear in these women.
