Exodus 4;2 And the LORD said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod.
Hebrew Literal: “ What this in your hand?
We must know by the Spirit what God has placed in our spiritual hand.
Can you hear God ask you; “what this in your hand?” Do you know your giftings, which produce ministries, and propel you to His calling?
Philemon 6 That the communication of thy faith may become effectual (energized) by the acknowledging( precise knowledge which changes realities) of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.
Eph 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh ( energizes) all things after the counsel of his own will:
Philemon in verse six says, that the communication of our faith is energized in proportion to our exact knowledge of every good thing which Christ has deposited into us. The energizing comes in proportion to our knowing and doing.
Exodus 4:3 And he said, Cast it ( shalak) ( Hiphil Imperative) on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it.
Shalak, or to throw, is in the Hiphil imperative verb tense. The Imperative is the mood of command. No doubt, that God always commands us. He never suggests, He commands!
There is no truth to God’s permissive will. God’s words are black and white to obey. Smith Wigglesworth said, that failure to obey God that the first time, is disobedience. You will not enter into cutting edge Christianity if you think that God has a permissive will. In thirty three years, not once have I functioned out of God’s permissive will. I’d be too scared.
The Hiphil, is the causative verb tense. That is, we cause something to happen at the command of God. So many times we sit and wait for our miracle, when the Lord tells us to step out and cause it to happen.
The devil’s playground is passivity, a passive lifestyle, and a passive mind. We must be active for God, by His voice.
4 And the LORD said unto Moses, Put forth ( shalach) thine hand, and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand, and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand:
It’s a “no no” to catch a snake by the tail, but God has not called us to walk by what appears as right and proper, but by faith.
Put forth, or the word shalach, is to send forth apostolically, with a specific purpose.
Moses extension of his arm, to grab the snake by the tail, had tremendous apostolic purpose.
1Co 9:26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly ( without the evident manifestation of God’s will); so fight ( as in a boxing match) I, not as one that beateth ( flay or trash) the air:
We must know the mission that God has for us, and not busily run to and fro without direction in ministry. God’s anointing is proportional to our exactness and preciseness in the blueprint of His will.
7 And he said, Put thine hand into thy bosom again. And he put his hand into his bosom again; and plucked it out of his bosom, and, behold (hinneh), it was turned again as his other flesh.
Hinneh, as a Hebrew word, is to behold. This means to perceive or see out of the box and into a different state, reality, or existence. By faith, Moses beheld his hand change into the reality of health, or un-leprosy. The key to cutting edge Christianity is seeing, thinking, and living out of the box.
The Greek for “turned again” is the triad, apokatahistemi, or to turn back to the original state. This is reconciliation. Jesus work of reconciliation is to turn back everything to the original realities before the inception of sin.
“Apokatahistemi” is Strong’s number 600.
Mt 12:13 Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored <600> whole, like as the other.
Mt 17:11 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore <600> all things.
Mr 3:5 And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored <600> whole as the other.
Mr 8:25 After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored <600>, and saw every man clearly.
Mr 9:12 And he answered and told them, Elias verily cometh first, and restoreth <600> all things; and how it is written of the Son of man, that he must suffer many things, and be set at nought.
Lu 6:10 And looking round about upon them all, he said unto the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he did so: and his hand was restored <600> whole as the other.
Ac 1:6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou <600> at this time restore again <600> the kingdom to Israel?
Heb 13:19 But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored <600> to you the sooner.
Exodus 4:12 Now therefore go, and I will be (I will become or exist) with thy mouth, and teach thee ( hiphil) what thou shalt say.
I love this! Here is the promise of prophecy to everyone who wants it!
All of you go can prophesy by faith!
God promises Moses, that He will come to exist with his mouth. God’s reality is manifested at the opening of your mouth. The hiphil is the causative verb. God promises Moses that He would cause words to come to him as he opened his mouth to speak to Pharaoh. That same promise is for you and me . So open your mouth and prophesy! God will cause the words to come to you.

Exodus 8: 5 And the LORD spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch forth thine hand with thy rod over the streams, over the rivers, and over the ponds, and cause frogs to come up ( hiphil) upon the land of Egypt.
Ex 8:17 And they did so; for Aaron stretched out his hand with his rod, and smote ( hiphil) the dust of the earth, and it became lice in man, and in beast; all the dust of the land became lice throughout all the land of Egypt.
It’s not God who begins the miracles, but we cause them by our obedience to His voice. There is no room for complacency, lethargy, or passivity in God’s kingdom.
Matt 11; 12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it ( harpazo- to snatch) by force.
The kingdom of heaven suffers from violence and only the spiritually violent snatch it as great booty or treasure.
Mt 13:46 Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold (perfect active) all that he had, and bought it.
The kingdom is the pearl of great price that the merchant sold all to buy. The perfect active declares that this had become the merchant’s new reality. Truly he sold all to buy the gift of God.
Will you sell all to attain to the kingdom of the heavens?
