Why Legislating Biblical Morality Is Not The Best Avenue!

Rom 6:6  Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

25  I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

Romans 8:2  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Man will either be regulated by the principle that generates sin and consequent death, or the principle of the resurrection type of life which resides in Christ Jesus.

The principle of sin which leads to death was introduced into mankind at the sinning of Adam. If there is such a field as spiritual genetics, this principle has been spiritually genetically transmitted into every human being since.

A principle is another way of saying a law.  A law expresses  that under specific circumstances, specific results will always occur.

The principle of sin which leads to death, unceasingly generates sinful impulses in man. No matter how hard he tries to halt from sinning, he can only sin, because  the incessant sin generating impulses of the principle of sin and depth continue unabated in him.

Only when he comes to Christ Jesus, is the principle of sin and subsequent death rendered a fatal blow.

As an engine of a car that stops working, the principle  of the resurrection life residing in Christ Jesus, liberates man from the principle of sin and death.

Man can then learn to be led by the impulses of resurrection life which the principle of that type life inside Christ Jesus generates.

This is why it is a waste of time to legislate Biblical morality on people who are still being dictated by the impulses which the principle of sin and death generate in them.

The key is to lead the person to Jesus , who destroys the principle of sin  and death and implants the new principle of life, generating impulses which lead to freedom and wholeness..

Also, no other religion, or religious figure has been able to destroy the principle of sin and subsequent death and implant this new principle of the God kind of life, save Christ Jesus.

Let’s legislate less and bring more people to the loving arms of Jesus.

This is the solution.

You think about that today.

We Are In Love With The Nursing Home Man

Rom 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man (palaios) is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Palaios “an old man according to age” is defined as a toothless, 150 year old, cane walking, IV sucking, decrepit nursing home man.

He is also the cruelest of beings. He is a slave trader, and a slave master.

His slaves are all the men and women of this world, no matter what religion, color or age.

This old man is a sin producing engine. He keeps humans captured and blinded by releasing continual sin into them. He knows that the only one who can kill him is Christ and His cross.  Thus he deceives people into hating Christ.

One day, it will be too late, and along with this toothless man, many will go to where there is gnashing of teeth.

He has deceived humanity so that it spends trillions of dollars to keep him alive, beautify, exalt, cosmeticized and protect him. His only purpose was to be killed by the cross. Yet people would rather reject Christ and continue to keep this dude alive.

The old man is the sinful nature which every human being has. Only Christ inside the human can destroy him.

Yet mankind will do anything to keep him alive and well, before coming to Christ.

Ah, the price of keeping sin trillions, and yet it will be paid until Christ comes back and promotes good politics.  The way out of the financial mess is repentance.

But for those who want to get rid of this decrepit and evil man, Christ is always available.

But for many others the love of this decrepit and evil dude will take them to the wrong side of the grave and in not so nice a place the human’s eye will finally be opened the old nursing home man.
