The Faith of Abraham

Romans 4:17  (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead (corpses), and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

This verse tells us that the nature of our God is to call forth the things, which are still not physically in existence as having the same reality and essence of things, which are in existence.

This is one of the facets of faith!

Abraham’s faith in God was so great, that out of corpse like circumstances, and out of things, which in reality dis not exist, God made Abraham into a father of many nations and millions of people.

This is called the faith of Abraham.

What Is The Great Catalyst?

Eph 3:12 In whom we have boldness and ACCESS with confidence by the faith of him.

Romans 5:2 By whom also we have ACCESS by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

CONFIDENCE in the voice of God is the great catalyst of energy which releases the gifts and the power of God.

It gives us the boldness to access the realities of God’s kingdom.

The amount of confidence that we have in obeying God, or giving a word, or praying for someone, is directly proportional to the access that we will have to the anointing, the power, the gifts or to the grace of God.

Confidence by faith gives us boldness with God and most important of all, ACCESS into the things of the kingdom of God.

“ACCESS” in the things of the kingdom of God is the right to obtain or use or take advantage of something (as services or membership).

Five minutes of prayer with absolute confidence in the voice of the Spirit does more than a month of praying in doubt!

Any incremental increase in our confidence will exponentially increase ACCESS into the things of the kingdom

How To Have A Great Marriage !

My wife Mary and I will celebrate 27th year of marriage in 2015.

We have had a problem free marriage. By that I mean, no unresolved issues have ever lingered.

We have never gone to sleep with unsettled problems

We have never had an argument that was not fixed that day.

Are we special? Of course not!

Am I perfect? Just ask my children!

The key to success is putting God and His will always first.

Mary and I met in 1986 in church, after her return from the mission fields.

We discovered that God had crossed our tracks several times.

Our paths intersected at North Miami Beach Elementary School in 1962.

I attended there after leaving Cuba.

At the school I learned English during the Cuban missile crisis and practiced ducking under desks in case it became real.

Right after leaving North Beach, little Mary also attended.

In 1977, my family moved from the Virgin Islands, to Key Biscayne, Florida.

My parents got a rental on Island Drive.

I discovered that Mary’s family left Island Drive, just before our arrival. Is this coincidence or divine destiny? I believe the latter, from a God who knows beginning to end.

If you are single, and love the Lord, be encouraged today!

God has that perfect one for you, like he had for me.

It’s much better to be single who loves Jesus, than to be married, love Jesus, but be married to a guy who hates him.

I have frequently observed single Christian women who love Jesus are happier than married Christian women who love Jesus, because their unbelieving husbands pull them down.

Enjoy your singlehood, loving and serving Jesus. Trust me, you are much better off. Fret not; God has that perfect one for you. Wait for him. Don’t focus on marriage, focus on Him.

I understand the loneliness of Christian singlehood. My advice is that you become married to Jesus. Draw close to and become filled with His Spirit. Most of your loneliness will leave.

God brought Mary, when I was contented to be single, even if it was to be so for the rest of my life. I was enthralled and in love with Jesus. I had forgotten about marriage, when my sweet Mary came.

I recommend, not to date, but wait for God’s one to come. I have seen many a good Christian fall into the pit of immorality. The flesh is weak, and God knows that. The problem with falling into immorality is that the devil’s condemnation last for months and severely injures the Christian’s walk.

Mary and I became great friends but presumed that God had destined us for others.

On the same day that I passed my FCC broadcasting test which I had failed twice, God opened our eyes. This was 1987. Now we knew that God was calling us to marriage. God knows how to open doors, and keep them shut. When you are in His will, He can move with blazing speed.

After three dates, we knew the calling to marriage and obeyed. Six months later we wed.   We were not in love when we married. We joined in obedience to God. The falling in love came after tying the knot.

From the beginning, Mary and I prayed together. Prayer is not simply talking to God. This prayer is about listening to God’s voice, His will, and then obeying.

We’ve learned the secret that in everything by doing the will of God and by laying ours down, things always turns out right.

We have done many crazy things in the Name of the Lord. But like cats which are constantly dropped from third floors, God makes us land on all fours.

God does not have two voices. He only has one . If a couple hears two things, something is wrong. This means that multiple agendas have not been surrendered to embrace God’s one. But this is the secret to a good marriage! Always, and in everything, couples lay down your will, and embrace God’s. He has one voice and one will. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all things that you wish for will be added to you.

Always put parents, children, and families, second, to God and His will. This sounds harsh, but it’s huge. I have seen many put fathers and mothers and children before God and His will, to destructive results. Family idolatry is one of the most damaging things in Christianity. If we put Him above all, He blesses our parents and children with the very best.

Mary and I are entirely honest with each other. We do not keep secrets. Good communication is critical. Talking things out and praying them through is crucial.

As a family, God taught us to be a team. We have endeavored to do as much as possible together. Our children come before ministry. We let them find their own way with the Lord. We don’t ask them to copy our Christian walk.

God is so great, if we always put Him first! You won’t go wrong.

Powerful Biblical Search Features!

I have been using the Online Bible program since the 1990’s.

I believe that it is the first of the free downloadable Bible programs.

The Online Bible has served me well for twenty years.

First, download the program unto your desktop.

http://onlinebible.net/downloads/program

The advantage is that you do not need the internet to use it.

On an airplane, or in Africa, you can benefit  from this excellent program.

I want to teach you some great “Search” features of the Online Bible.

Open your program.

Publication1-002

On the screen shot as well as in your program you will notice in the available choices on the top; “Window”.

Click on it and select “Tile as a single window.”

On the screen shot you note icons inclusive of a red bible, a lamp and a flashlight.

The flashlight is your search figure.

You can also use it by the F7 button.

Click on the flashlight.

Then tap the “set range” button.

Click on the “New Testament” circle and tap ok.

This sets your search to only the New Testament.

In the search box, write “word” and tap ok.

The one hundred ninety seven verses where the word, “word”, shows up on the New Testament are displayed.

The Online Bible uses the King James Version as its default.

The King James by exceedingly far is the most connected translation to all Greek and Hebrew resources.

Now hit the letter “S.”

This brings up the Strong’s Concordance.

You will note as I you can see in the screen shots and the program itself numbers bracketed in between <> or ().

Untitled

The <> are your Strong’s definitions.

The () are only included for verbs and are represent their parsing.

You will note that the word, “word” verse list has such numbers as # 3056 # 4487 and # 2036.

This is why it’s vital to have a basic understanding of Biblical languages.

In the English, we read the word, word.

But in the Greek the meanings of these words are very different and very important.

For example, #3056 is the “logos” word which focuses mostly on God’s written word.

rama

The word # 4087 which I have delineated on the screen shot is the “rhema” word which focuses mostly on God’s spoken word, through the voice of His Spirit.

Scroll down to Matthew 4:4.

This is an instance of the rhema word.

No click with your mouse on the < 4487 >.

The Strong’s Greek definition opens up.

Study it.

Now click on your flashlight or F7.

Type 4487.

This displays the sixty seven verses where the rhema word appears.

Now you can perform a study on the Word of God through His voice.

This is an extremely powerful word study.

Click on the flashlight and type “wor*”

The * sign performs a search on the root “wor.”

A verse list of 808 verses including “ word “, “words”, “worship” “worlds”, etc. pops up.

The * function is important in performing root searches.

Hit the flashlight and type “ word” & “ faith.”

The & is the and sign

The program displays eight verses where the words “word” and “faith” both show up.

Now type “word | faith.”

The | is the “or” sign.

The program now displays 418 verses where either faith or word is displayed.

You can also type in the Strong’s number for faith.

Faith is # 4102

Try it out.

Our type in 3056 & 4102.

You now get ten verses where 3056 which is the logos, the written word and faith show up.

You get the picture.

Your searches can be infinite and your knowledge of God’s word which sets you free, exponentially increases.

How To Help One Billion People?

Because of social media, your ability to impact one billion people is a reality.

I head an excellent interview with entrepreneur Peter Diamamdis on the Tim Ferris show.

I jotted a few a points and preordered his book, “Bold “on Amazon.

  1. How can one billion people be helped by you?
  2. By the 2020 there will be five billion people on the internet. What can you do to help them? Today, there are nearly two billion.
  3. Develop moon shot thinking. Think 10 x greater than anybody else. With God this is possible. Your greatest ideas are nothing compared to His thinking power.
  4. Develop a 10 x bigger approach to things.
  5. Stop complaining and start solving.
  6. I am attempting crazy big ideas?
  7. Be willing to fail 99 out of 100 times.
  8. When you have huge goals it’s impossible to fail completely. Somewhere you will hit it right.
  9. Don’t have to a legacy to hold you back
  10. Have huge passion and purpose
  11. Today, capital from crowd funding is at 15 billion dollars. In 2020 it will be at 100 billion.
  12. Use incentive competitions
  13. A world of abundance comes by doing great things
  14. Is there a billion people problem that you can solve?

How To Access?

Eph 3:8 To me, the very least of all saints, was this grace given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,

9 and to make all men see what is the administration of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in God, who created all things through Jesus Christ;

12 in whom we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him.

Access is an interesting word

Everybody wants access to something.

God loves access.

Google dictionary describes it as the right to approach something, and to have the opportunity to use and benefit from it.

God has afforded access to His invisible and unsearchable riches to those who love Him.

These have bold access by the confidence which resolute faith brings.

God’s riches are unsearchable because they are not accessed through physical senses.

Man lost access to them in the Garden of Eden.

God hid them when Adam disobeyed Him, and gave us re access when Christ came.

Adam and Eve were created as eternal beings with free access into all riches.

The word hedonism comes from Eden. Hedonism is the doctrine that pleasure and happiness is the highest good.

The absence of sin is the purest form of pleasure.   The root of sin is pain and the fear which pain carries.

God will not give sinful people access into these riches lest they corrupt their flawless nature through sin, and eat from the tree of life to become eternal sinners.

God’s kingdom is only accessed by the revelation of the Holy Spirit.

Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things made, both His eternal power and Divinity, so that they are without excuse.

Col 1:16 because by Him all things were created, those in the heavens and those on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through Him and for Him.

God’s invisible kingdom is full of things or objects.

All realms, either visible or invisible are made up of objects which take up space and to make up these realms

Just because something cannot be seen does not make it not real.

Heb 10:1   For the law having a shadow of the good things to come, and not the image itself of the things (pragmas), can never with the same sacrifices, which they offer continually every year, make those approaching perfect.

Heb 11;1   For the law having a shadow of the good things to come, and not the image itself of the things (pragma), can never with the same sacrifices, which they offer continually every year, make those approaching perfect.

The invisible and eternal riches are called pragmas.

So why do we want access into the pragmas of God?

  1. The objects or things which make up God’s invisible places in His kingdom are called pragmas.
  2. Earthly objects are under the curse of sin, and have become temporal.
  3. Pragmas seamlessly function, are intact, pristine, uncontaminated, unbreakable, and eternally enduring
  4. They are accessed by faith and the revelation of the Holy Spirit.
  5. They dwell in the light of the glory of God versus the light of the sun
  6. They are the flawless and pristine originals, the prototypical and archetypical models, of every universal thing created by God in its perfect and untarnished form.
  7. They are not subject to a malfunction or to a breakage.
  8. They are not limited to height, width, and length, and are limitless.
  9. Pragmas operate in the same way that God Himself operates.
  10. They can increase and diminish by faith.
  11. Because every universal pragma lies created inside of Christ, through His reconciliation, everything becomes conformed back to the images of those pragmas.
  12. This is one of the great works of Christ. No other religious leader has accomplished this.

Do You Have A Well Defined Future?

Hab 2:2 And the Lord gave me an answer, and said, Put the vision in writing and make it clear on stones, so that the reader may go quickly.

I am reading a book titled “The E Myth” by Michael E Gerber.

What he writes is significant.

Most people, including myself, have a poorly defined vision for their future.

Life becomes passive and complacent because of that.

Michael quotes a story about Tom Watson, the founder of IBM.

Tom was asked to speak about the phenomenal growth of IBM.

These were some of his answers.

A # “At the very beginning, I had a very clear picture of what the company would look like when it was finally done.”

B # “ Once I had the picture, I then asked myself how a company which looked like the IBM that I envisioned would have to act.

Michael goes on to state a few more questions.

The name of our ministry is Emerging, Inc.,so I applied them to us.

  1. How will Emerging look like, when it’s finally in place?
  2. Once that Emerging is in place, how will it have to act?
  3. I must fashion Emerging from this moment on according to this template.
  4. Every day I must devote myself to the development components of Emerging and not to do business.
  5. How must Emerging work now to make this future template a reality?
  6. I must have a well-defined future for Emerging and then come back to the present with the intention of changing it.
  7. I must envision Emerging in its entirety from which it will derive its parts.
  8. I must visualize Emerging as seamlessly integrated components of some larger pattern that come together to systematically produce my planned result.
  9. Each part of Emerging must be measurable and function by articulated rules and principles.

So i gave it a shot this morning.

The template for Emerging!
