Straining Out The Unconstitutional Gnat To Swallow the Unconstitutional Camel.

Matt 23: 24  Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.

The brouhaha  with the constitutionality or lack thereof of government initiated prayer or religious symbols on government property made me think.

It’s amusing that those who raise up this stink only have a constitutional problem with the things of God.

What about the unconstitutionality of government officials lying under oath?

And the unconstitutionality of scandals, or penalizing the exempt status of conservative groups, based on doctrinal differences with the government?

What about the unconstitutionality of Benghazi, or Fast and Furious?

Or  the  unconstitutionality of taking private donations to fund Obama care?

Or the unconstitutionality of news organizations being wire tapped?

Where is their voice then?

If  they are so focused on guarding the constitutionality of our Constitution, they should be the vanguard of these bigger issues. I never hear them complain about the corruption, lies, or scandal plaguing our government.

Matt 23:23  Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

Well said it Jesus. These folk deliberate  the conflict with prayer and omit the weightier matters which encroach  our Constitution.

The one thing that can fix the scandals and lies is changed hearts by repentance to God. Yet this is the thing that they attack as unconstitutional.

Matt 23:25  Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.

26  Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, which the outside of them may be clean also.

These folks want the veneer of  clean separation of church and state to adorn the outside of the government cup and platter, while winking at the  extortion and excesses within them.

They  don’t care about unconstitutionality.

If they did, they would be in pandemonium with all the unconstitutionalities being perpetrated.

But no, the issue is not unconstitutionality.

It goes deeper.

There are unfortunate experiences with a church, pastor, or parent , which has caused wounds so deep that now it must be projected upon the rest of us.

It’s not their civil rights, but ours, which they try to silence.

These folks need to come to the very God whom they try to make unconstitutional.

He is the only one who can set them free.

Matt 23: 24  Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.

Amen to Jesus!

These people strain out the gnat of  unconstitutional government led prayer, while swallowing the unconstitutional camel of scandals, deceit and extortion.

This is not only hypocrisy, but ulterior intentions and motives with agenda, many times, political.

If you want to talk to me about the unconstitutionality of public prayer let me see you take charge of the unconstitutionality of these weightier problems.

You say that the Constitution is of great importance  to you?

Let me see it first with the matters of corruption before the matters of the One who can set us free from them.

It seems like you have things backwards, my friend.

I am sorry to say, if you are not willing to tackle the bigger constitutional issues, while attacking prayer and religious symbols, I am not very much interested in talking to you.

Blessings

The Church Is The Globe’s Most Important Society

The church is the most important institution in the universe.  This is the why God implemented it in the first place. He has none else.

The church’s most important job is to bring forth the glory of the Lord into all the earth, and throughout all eternity.

Ephesians 3:21  Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

Glory is defined as the end product of the invisible God becoming visible. The Lord accomplishes this through His Word, His attributes, and righteous deeds.

Isaiah 40:5  And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

The glory of God is of supreme importance.  Through it, men are ushered into eternal salvation, physical healings take place, people are set free from demonic oppression, spiritual gifts are displayed, and revival of cities and nations that change civilization are carried out.

Mark 6:56 and as many as touched him were made whole.

Civilization’s most essential need, and most desperate need, is to be capable of beholding an invisible God, who desires to make Himself plainly evident, through Jesus Christ in His glory.

The key to all of humanity’s needs, past, present, and future, lie locked in the Person of Christ.

To the proportion that the invisible Christ becomes visible to mankind by His glory, is to the exact proportion that all mankind’s needs will be met and answered forever.

John 12:32  And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

The church of Jesus Christ is GOD’S ONLY INSTRUMENT, which can make Him visible.  Aside from His glory as seen in creation, God has made for Himself no other avenue that will allow Him to become visible in a real, personal and intimate way to people.

Ephesians 3:21  Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

Moses was commissioned by God to build Him the tabernacle in the Sinai Desert. It was of eternal importance that he would follow God’s architectural blue prints for its construction with exactness and accuracy.  God’s spiritual architectural blueprint is referred to as the “pattern in the mount”.

Hebrews 8:5  Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.

Why did God demand such precision?  The purpose of the OT tabernacle was to manifest the invisible God in His glory so that His people, the Israelites, would know Him.

Through His glory, God also revealed His laws to Moses to then be transmitted to the Jewish nation.

It would also be fair to say then, that the New Testament church has a “pattern in the mount” of its own. This model must be followed with the precise accuracy so that the world may see the glory of the Lord through the church.

Any local NT assembly must understand, and execute “the pattern in the mount” with meticulous care.

This model is demonstrated for us primarily in the Books of Ephesians and Colossians.

A congregation’s success or failure to do so will result in the same success or failure to manifest the Person of the Lord Jesus to a dying world.

Unfortunately most churches are ignorant of the New Testament model that must govern their operation.  Church becomes merely a place that we congregate to hear a Sunday sermon.  It is Sunday school for adults and kids.  It is a place for Christian fellowship, and Bible studies, programs, and committees.

It is hardly ever recognized as the one society instituted by God to manifest Him universally and eternally. The things that I have mentioned above are not bad in themselves.  The problem occurs when we make these activities a means to an end. The purpose of all church activities must be to reveal the Person of Jesus Christ through them.

John Brevere, a popular Christian speaker, says that we, the church, have minored in the majors and majored in the minors.

The Church Is The Fullness of God”

Eph 1:22  And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

23  Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

The word for “fullness” in verse twenty-three, of Ephesians chapter one, is a most interesting word.

Envision that you have a bottle filled with Coca Cola. What is the Coca Cola?  Is it the bottle, or is it the liquid inside of it?  I would propose to you that it is that brown, sweet, delightful liquid that we gulp down and enjoy.

So what is this fluid called Coca Cola made of?  Well, it is made up of every ingredient that is perfectly mixed in its required quantities and precise order, to lawfully recognize and labeled it as this reality that we call Coca Cola.

This is the fullness of Coca Cola!  In other words, the fullness of Coca Cola is the very essence and nature of this liquid, which makes it to be Coca Cola and nothing else.

The fullness of God then, describes the very essence, the reality, and the evidence of who God is.  It also describes to us every attribute and characteristic that is required, to make God, God.

The church is the fullness of God!  The Lord has called upon the church to manifest Him in His very essence and reality.  He has also summoned the church to manifest every attribute and characteristic that makes up the essence and reality of who He is.  This is called the glory of God, or allowing the invisible God to become accurately identifiable.

Let us simplify this by taking the example of one believer.  A young lady in a local assembly is a totally surrendered, yielded, and obedient vessel to the Lord Jesus.  She allows the Lord to deal with her, touch her, and to transform her in every aspect of her life. This occurs through the process of the death and resurrection of the Lord within her. Whatever the Lord touches in her life by His cross, He then fills with His fullness.  In theory, if this believer would yield every aspect of her life to the Lord, she would be filled with the fullness of God.  In the phrase, “the fulness of him that filleth all in all.” the Lord describes Himself as “the God who desires to fill every person, and every part of that person, with Himself.”

However God wants to go further still.  He is not only satisfied with filling every part of one believer with Himself.  In any local assembly, God desires to fill every part of every believer within Himself.  As this takes place, the fullness of the Lord becomes manifested through that local assembly.

Wherever the glory of the Lord is displayed, multitudes will always throng to hear Him and to be ministered to by Him.  This is the definition of revival, and it can only occur through the manifested presence of the Lord.  Revival is one of the primary functions and responsibilities of every local assembly.  I have always been sadly puzzled with many of our church strategies, and church growth programs, developed in attempts to draw people to them.  We only need to allow the Lord Jesus to be amply manifested in His glory.  The multitudes will surely follow.  Jesus did not have to bring revival.  He is “the revival.”  The more that He becomes manifested; an automatic revival will always ensue.

The NT Testament church model demands that every believer must be touched, transformed, and filled by the Lord Jesus in every aspect of his or her life for the model to work at its peak.

Matthew 4:25  And there followed him great multitudes of people from Galilee, and from Decapolis, and from Jerusalem, and from Judaea, and from beyond Jordan.

Luke 5:15  But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities.

The Church is The Holy of Holies

In the Old Testament we find that God’s fullness dwelled within the Ark of the Covenant located in the Holy of Holies in the tabernacle of God.  This Ark of the Covenant is also called the Ark of the Testimony.

Exo 26:33  And thou shalt hang up the vail under the taches, that thou mayest bring in thither within the vail the ark of the testimony: and the vail shall divide unto you between the holy place and the most holy.

34  And thou shalt put the mercy seat upon the ark of the testimony in the most holy place.

The American College Dictionary defines for us testimony as “evidence in support of a fact or statement.” Therefore, within the Ark of the Covenant resides the complete and absolute evidence that supports all the facts of whom God really is.  In other words the fullness of God dwells inside.  Therefore the church’s great responsibility is to give to the world at large with preciseness, who God really is.  It must so fully declare Him that the world has all the facts that it needs, to accept God or reject Him.  In reality, the testimony of God is no different to the testimonies given by witnesses in a courtroom.  The purpose of testimonies is to furnish a jury with enough factual evidence that will allow it to reach a truthful verdict.

Eph 2:19  Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

 20And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

21  In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:

Ephesians 2:21 tells us that the church is a “holy temple in the Lord.”  If we would go and research our original Greek New Testament, we should discover that the word implemented here is the “Holy of Holies”.  The church in fact is the holy of holies of the Lord.  As the Holy of Holies, the church is the dwelling place of God.  As the Holy of Holies, the church does become in fact the Ark of the Testimony.   It is the one and only universal agent that must, and can, give full evidence with all supporting facts, that define the reality of whom God is.  It must manifest Him in His fullness, so that the world has enough evidence to reach a verdict to accept or reject the gospel.

I Matthew 24:14  And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness( testimony) unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Matthew 24:14 confirms exactly what we have spoken about. The only way that the gospel can be effectively preached is through the church’s testimony or witness of the Lord Jesus according to what we have spoken about. What is the kingdom of God?

Mat 10:7  And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

8  Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

Verse seven and eight tells us that the kingdom consists of healing of the sick, raising the dead, casting out demons, and freely giving. The preaching of the gospel must include the testimony of God’s kingdom, or the plain evidence of these signs and wonders being performed by the Lord here on earth.  The testimony of the kingdom of God becomes a reality as the church brings forth the glory of God.  Many times I have been sadly bewildered when I hear the church getting so excited, and talking about the rapture, and the end of the world being so close at hand.  The end indeed may be close.  I am not the one to say!

However, the Lord tells us in Matt 24:14 that the gospel must be “preached for a witness”.  Are we doing this?  Are we furnishing strong and plain evidence to the non-Christians of whom God is, and making His kingdom visible?  Can the end yet really come?  I do not know.

Bringing in The Glory

I Cor 12:4  Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.

5  And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.

6  And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.

7  But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

Verse four, of First Corinthians chapter twelve, tells us that God has given to the church a diversity of spiritual gifts.  Verse five describes for us that God has likewise given a variety of ministries and offices to Christians.  Verse six tells us that God administers His gifts and ministries in a multitude of ways, according to the person whom He works through, and the circumstances in which He releases these gifts and ministries in. Verse seven tells us that God’s spiritual gifts and or ministries have been given to every Christian; none is exempt! No one has the luxury of being a pew sitter, and no one has the right to prohibit the manifestation of the Spirit through another believer.  Verse seven goes on to tell us that the function of spiritual gifts and ministries is simply to the manifest the Holy Spirit.  What is so important about manifesting the Holy Spirit?  Look with me now at John 15:26.

John 15:26  But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

The role of the Holy Spirit is to “testify of Jesus”.  As we have already discussed the process of testifying to the Lord Jesus has to do with the bringing forth of evidence in support of the facts of whom God is.  As believers, we have the grave responsibility of displaying the ministry of the Holy Spirit through our lives through the use of spiritual gifts and ministries. To the extent that we allow the Holy Spirit to work within our churches, will be to the extent that the Holy Spirit will be allowed to” testify of the Lord Jesus”, and bring forth the fullness of God.

Ephesians 2:21  In whom all the building fitly framed together  groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:

Ephesians 4:16  From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

Now let us look at verses above, both of them in the book of Ephesians. The word “fitly framed together” pertains to the building up of the church through the use of spiritual gifts, ministries, offices, and callings.  The Apostle Paul in Ephesians four and sixteen has marvelously described the operation of the New Testament church in one single verse. What he in fact says is the following.  A local assembly increases, and grows, as each parishioner within the local body supplies his or her part in accordance to the gifts and ministries, which the Lord has given to each of them.  This is what Paul means in verse sixteen when he employs the term “every joint supplieth.”  Many of our churches do not follow the model described in verse sixteen.  Too many churches have too few ministers; there is too much control by leaders whom prohibit the exercise of spiritual gifts and ministries.  Likewise there are too many complacent pew sitters who do not grow in their spiritual gifts and ministries, and so do not “carry their burden” of testifying to Jesus. The result is always the same.  Only part of the Lord’s fullness is evident, only part of His glory is manifested, and much of the revival that should have taken place, sadly does not come about.

Paul adds furthermore another the phrase; “According to the effectual working in the measure of every part”  .  Here, he tells us, that “EVERY” parishioner has the responsibility to work within a congregation at his or her “PEAK LEVEL OF SPIRIT LED PERFORMANCE”.  This requires uncompromising obedience to God, and dedication to the local body.   All of this must be done in line with the giftings, callings, and ministries deposited within each member of the local body by the Lord.

I am of the belief that the church must be more of a school, college, and graduate school than anything else.  Time today, does not allow us to discuss the issue of the five-fold ministry found in Ephesians chapter four.  Suffice it to say that it is my belief that the senior pastor is the dean of this school.  The apostles, prophets, associate pastors, teachers, and evangelists are the professors.  The aim is to aid each parishioner become free from demonic oppression, sins, and the hurts from the past. The second phase will be to help each parishioner in discovering his or her spiritual gifts and ministries. The leadership must raise them up in accordance to these gifts as readiness is shown.  Then through the leading of the Holy Spirit, they must be released within the church to operate in their giftings and ministries.  This is one way to begin bringing forth the fullness of Christ into a local assembly

Wolves in Sheep’s Clothing

Having said all of this, I would like to close today’s study by discussing with you some of the great hurts that we are bringing upon our own churches.

Countless believers today serve the Lord in the chains of past hurts, bondages, and demonic oppression.  Their service is of limited benefit to the Lord.  I believe that part of the problem lies in that we are not bringing forth the fullness and the presence of God into our local bodies. Our current church models, as we discussed earlier, are set up to discourage and limit the glory of God.

As we know, one of the Lord’s primary victories was to defeat Satan and destroy once and forevermore his works.   Every time that the Lord’s glory is revealed, we shall see Him at work destroying the works of the enemy and setting people free.

2Thess 2:8  And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

The brightness of the Lord’s coming is defined as the manifestation or the appearance of the Lord’s presence. “To destroy” is to make something useless, idle, and non-operational, because it has been broken down and no longer works.  The more therefore, that the fullness of the Lord resides in the corporate life of the church, the greater shall be the degree of the Evil One’s works becoming useless and of no effect.

1 John 3:8  He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

In First John three eight, we find the word “destroy” once again.  Its definition is just a bit different here.  Instead of making the gamut of Satan’s works useless by breaking them down, here the Lord causes them to become undone.  But the end product is just the same. The important thing for us to realize is that the undoing or the breaking down of sins, hurts, and bondages are always proportionally related to the fullness of the Person of Christ as manifested in our local assemblies.

Our church model of “pew sitting” molds believers that never press on to discover and mature in their spiritual gifts and ministries.  Our churches are full of people that are not contributing their part of bringing in the fullness of God.  Because the church is one body made of up of many members, fellow brethren will never get the benefit of the fullness of God that should had been manifested through passive pew sitters.  Every believer has a unique way to manifest the Lord that can be never be replaced by anyone else.  It is an eternal loss for God and His body.

In the same light, we leaders propagate equal damage, when we use our churches as either “one man shows” or give the liberty of ministry to just a few. We are restricting the fullness of God as we do so. As pastors and ministers we must mentor, raise up, release the ministers and their ministries, and then step back to watch and guide.  We are the musical directors of the Lord’s symphony orchestra, the church.  Our role is to conduct all the instruments as the play through the ministries and giftings of the body, finally crescendoing   into the marvelous music of the Lord’s fullness and glory.

1 Timothy 1:18  This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare;

Ezra 6:14  And the elders of the Jews builded, and they prospered through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo. And they builded, and finished it, according to the commandment of the God of Israel, and according to the commandment of Cyrus, and Darius, and Artaxerxes king of Persia

In the above two scriptures, 1Timothy, and Ezra, we see two functions of prophets.  Through its relationship to prophecies and words from God, a church in part acquires the vision that is necessary for its warfare, direction, progress, and growth. A church will never succeed in executing and completing all that God has for it, if it limits or prohibits prophets and prophecies.  Our job is not to prohibit or limit, but to discern and distinguish between correct and incorrect prophecies.

I Cor 12:10  To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

In this same light, those that have the gift of the “discernment of spirits” never come forth into their use of them. We know already that discernment of spirits is used to primarily cast out of demons.  I would like to also propose the following.  The Lord also uses the gift of discernment of spirits to expose false prophets within a congregation and to catch developing patterns of sin and error before it festers and hurts many. With our current church models in place, those that operate within this spiritual realm either remain silent, or never mature spiritually to a point that they recognize that God has called them into this ministry.  Our churches many times are so not aware that they are traveling a course contrary to that of the Spirit of God.

Let us study, and start building “according to the pattern shown to us in the mount” of the glory of the Lord.

The church therefore Is the globe’s most important society.

On The Un Separation of Church and State

Videos like this make me laugh.

The video was part of the scene at yesterday’s Minnesota Twins and Texas Rangers baseball game.

Once again, what we see demonstrates the utter futility which America exercises in her quest to push God out of memory,  under the pretense of the separation of church and state.

Washington DC, which has attempted this so much, has baked in 100 degree temperatures for two weeks.

How can we ever imagine that the God of the universe, who also built and owns America, will be pushed out through  little stupid laws?

Such unmitigated arrogance hounds many in our country.

May this video remind us that God is alive and well, He is very much unseparated from America, and does with it whatever He darn well pleases.

God bless!

Have a great Monday, everyone.

Derek Prince and American Politics

I believe in the concept of constructive criticism of the government, as a means of educating a nation’s population, which is commonly blind.

My father said, “Don’t follow the throngs, they are usually wrong.”

A tyrant’s elixir is the gullibility and naïvety of the masses, whom he leads.

A despot who enjoys the favor of the media can deceive all the more.

Hence the people are in need of continuing education which bears the face of the constructive criticism of its government.

If we don’t speak up in protection of our freedoms when challenged by despotism, we lose them.

But censure of the government without ongoing intercession to God for it, is hypocrisy. This is the most potent tool.

If we don’t like the government which rules us, we must vote it out.

I am appalled at how few Christians not only are unregistered to vote, but have scant knowledge of those whom rule them.

If we don’t like those whom govern us, and vote them in again, we deserve what we get.

Without a doubt, the Christian owns civilization’s most powerful weapons to change the face of government; intercession, faith and revival.

Months back I wrote this about my wife Mary.

“Mary has been Reese Howells Intercessor by Norman Grub. God is leading me back to continual intercession. I believe that continual intercession is the number one key for God to move and bring healing to the USA. It is the main answer for America. Reese Howell, a Welsh intercessor, interceded during the invasions of Hitler into Europe discouraging Hitler from attacking England. I believe that this book is a must read for every Christian who has a passion for revival and for God to heal the USA.”

After prefacing this, I enthusiastically agree with the comments of that great man of God, Derek Prince.

“Having been raised in Britain, I am frequently shocked by the way in which Americans habitually speak about the officers of their government. The irony of this is that, in an elective democracy, those who continually criticize their rulers are, in effect criticizing themselves, since it is within their power by the processes of election to change those rulers and to replace them by others. This applies with double force to Christians in such a democracy. Who have also available to them God-given power of prayer by which to bring about the changes which they believe desirable…the truth is, Christians are not held responsible by God to criticize their government, they are held responsible to pray for it. So long as they fail to pray, Christians have no right to criticize. Furthermore, if Christians would seriously begin to intercede, they would find less to criticize.”

What Happens to a Nation When It Becomes Driven by Issues Rather Than By Character?

Lets start with Jesus parable of the sower.

Luke 8: 11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.

The seed is the written Word of God, His counsels, and His wisdom.

12  Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.

Then comes the devil physically, mentally, and spiritually, and lifts and carries away the Logos word from their hearts so that through the lack of efficacy and energy that the Logos Word of God produces, they may not receive salvation.

The Logos Word talks about designs, counsels and blueprints of God. This is also called God’s wisdom.

13  They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.

These, root never bear.

The root is what hooks us to something so that we can acquire nurturing and the creation of a  foundation from them. Many do not even allow the hooking root to form. In the good season they receive with joy. In the season of trial because there was no hooking root, they release themselves from following the Lord.

14  And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures  (hedonism) of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.

By the anxieties, riches and hedonistic pleasures found in their livelihood, they become utterly suffocated and choked and are not able to bring forth anything, as per the Word of God, into maturity and completion.

15  But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.

To keep the Word means to grasp it, keep it and make it our own; make it into something authentic.  This is the way that the Logos Word of God must be followed.  As they do so, they bring salvation to themselves, always in the realm of endurance.

Luke 16: 10 He who is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much. He who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much.

The one who is faithful in the very least and the most inferior of all things; Whoever is unjust and dishonest in the in the very least and the most inferior of all things, will also be dishonest with the much and the more important things.

People fail to catch this vital principle which creates in part of  the character of a man, especially in politicians.

What happens to a nation then when it becomes “issues driven” rather than “character driven?”

When I look at leaders, I much less look at their standpoint on a certain issue than I do at Luke 16:10.

If a leader is dishonest in the small things, it’s guaranteed that he will also be in the big.

What good is it if you agree with the one leading you on several issues, but his character is corrupt and flawed?

At the end, those issues will not matter much, but the place where a dishonest man has led you, has put not only those views, but now your future, and those of your children, in jeopardy.

Many don’t care where they are led, as long as there is consensus with those leaders on their concerns and viewpoints.

I’d rather be led by somebody who has some differing opinions to mine, but has great honesty, and integrity in how he leads.  Wherever he leads there will be safety.

God  puts some of His highest valuations on the character of a man or woman. People place their assessment not on character, but on societal issues. The former type of leadership will spell well being, the latter will spell disaster.

America is an issue driven and not a  character driven society. Politicians know this  and  don’t care about the country.  They continue endorsing agendas,  many times globalist in nature, and focus upon  getting reelected. This is a sure recipe for catastrophe, and catastrophe will come.

When people are issue driven and not character driven,  integrity, truthfulness and reliability matter little  An entire nation falls asleep, becomes dumbed down and  beguiled.

Corrupt leaders though,  never sleep or slumber. The deck is stacked. A nation sleeps while its corrupt leaders work. Go figure what will occur?

Behind corrupt leaders, the devil is busy at task.

2 Timothy 2:26  And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

Greek: That they ( The USA) may return to soberness or awake out of the snare of the devil, after having being hunted down, taken captive, and caught alive by the devil, to do his will.

The devil is always actively hunting to “catch alive” by trapping our free will and make it to become passive, so that his will in us can then become active.  (This is always His work with churched and unchurched)

1 Peter 5:8  Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Be temperate dispassionate and serious in your life ( America!) , be awake and watchful, because your opponent in a suit of law, the devil, (to thoroughly cast, throw, or hurl) as a roaring lion, conducts himself around, arduously and earnestly seeking, whom he may drink down, gulp and swallow, consume, and destroy.

Eph 4:27  Neither give place ( topon)to the devil.

Topon:  opportunity, power, occasion for acting

One Bible version renders “giving place”, as the construction of a landing strip, or an airport runway on our very person, for the devil to land upon!

Only our sin and disobedience can do that.  Any time that we are in willful disobedience to God, we automatically open up an airport facility on our very backs, where the enemy can land and take off at his personal whims and fancies.

Ephesians 2:2  Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

Many of us imagine that Ephesians chapter two is Paul’s discussion focusing on the unchurched.  I tend to disagree.

The Greek word for worketh is defined as giving energy to.

This particular verse is in the present participle.  This means that the sons of disobedience energize the schemes or plans of the devil on a continuing basis. The word for disobedience is being non-compliant.

If a Christian is continually non-compliant in an area of his or her life,  he or she will energize the works of the devil. I believe that there is no difference; the devil is a lawyer.  He will always get in with every person, wherever he is given an open door.

Any non-compliant person to the voice and the ways of God automatically energizes the work of the devil on her life whether she likes it or not.

America, in many ways has become a non-compliant nation to the ways of God. Go figure, what happens next?

Many think that God has to play by their rules, but at the end, we always end up playing by His. It’s important that we are on His team. He is not indebted to be on ours!

 Romans 1:28  And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Greek ( paraphrase): Because they ( America) did not like to acknowledge God in their thinking as someone that is more precious and valuable than the finest of metals after having an opportunity to do so, God decreed their thinking as failing the test given to a fine metal, rendering their thinking unfit, and worthy only to be rejected and cast away to do those things which are inappropriate.

This is what has happened to America. As I say, we don’t have an economic or political problem. In fact, we have a God problem and a sin problem.

We have become a Theosphobic or Christophobic nation.

Mat 12:43  When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.

He travels continually throughout differing arid places “seeking a cessation of his now unpleasant circumstances” (because he has been cast out of the man), and in no way finds it (showing the necessity the demons have to possess a living being).

44  Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.

I will return into my house whence I came out, and having come, finds it vacant and occupied, and in a perfected state of being swept, and cosmetically adorned.

Has America become cosmetically adorned but vacant of her knowledge and value of God?

45  Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

If this is true, the demon has returned to America with seven more wicked devils than itself.

2Co 2:11  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

Lest Satan exploit us, for we are not without knowledge of his “schemes.”

The word “devices”  is noema”, or thoughts.

The devil has a big thought life, all of them lying schemes, which he injects into an individual’s mind. His biggest ploy is to vaccinate his thoughts into the organ which houses thoughts, the mind. Through that, he manipulates the thought life of an individual, misleading him.

A nation which does not value God and does not retains Him in its thoughts opens itself up to the massive attack of its now vacant thought life by the devil.

America’s mind is succumbing to the mind of the devil, and its end will be destruction, if the church does not arise and if folks do not repent.

Eph 4:14  That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight ( Kubeia / the cube or the throwing of the dice)  of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive (planetize);

Neither would we be carried about by every wind produced by the agendas of men which resemble the deceptive throwing of dice.

This is part and parcel of the American political system.

Literal Greek: That by no means would we be toddlers tossed around by the surge of vigorous waves.

Neither would we be carried about by every wind produced by the agendas of men which resemble the deceptive throwing of dice.

These types of agendas are being devised to work around the person a systematizing or methodology which produces error or ( planetizing: from the word planet –to wonder).

The ploy of the devil is to create this type of ingrained thinking in the minds of men.

Any type of rhetoric, philosophies, or viewpoints which tempts man to rebel against the Bible is the systematization of error, which will toss man into the foam of secularism and send him to hell.

The rhetoric surrounding the separation of church and state is Satan’s deceptive dice throwing.  If he can build a systematic thinking of error in the hearts of Americans which thrusts God out of the governance of the nation, he will send America and Americans to hell.

17   This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,

The Christian must not conduct his life in the mindset which is focused on temporal, distracted, entertainment prone, and frivolous ways of thinking.

At the pace which America is going at, countries in East Africa will overtake us.

African children are thinkers, many of them having knowledge of what they want to do.  Poverty has forced them to seek God, read the Bible and develop strong passions for education.

America on the other hand, is in a crisis of entertainment induced distraction away from the living God and into the systematization of error by some of its political leaders.

The dice playing of the enemy is succeeding in pulling America  away into the arrogance of self-sufficiency, and defiant independence from God.

We are trading in the knowledge of God for self-centered knowledge of entertainment and cultural viewpoints.

If we are not watchful, we will become the tail or the butt of a nation. Africans will come in to educate and evangelize us. The antichrist will entertain and text message with us all the way to hell.

18  Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

Having the deep patterns of thinking in a darkened existence, they are alienated from the God’s type of life through ignorance. This ignorance dwells in calloused hearts which have been hardened by their rejection of God.

This sounds like our country, no? Go figure!

2Ti 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

“Sound doctrine” is a medical term defined as being healthy and whole. Only the doctrine of the Word of God can make humanity healthy. A nation becomes sickly and diseased when it rejects God and His Word.

2Ti 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

“Endure” comes from the word anaecho, or the taking up things to one’s self to obtain them.

What is scary about what Paul writes is his choice of the word “not”.  This Greek negative has two forms. One is the word “me” and the other one is “ouk”. The stronger one, “ouk” is used here.

“Ouk”, meaning absolutely not, under any circumstances.

The verse translates as follows: There will come a season when they will absolutely and unreservedly reject receiving wholesome and healthy teaching but after their own carnal desires will heap and collect teachers which will only tell them pleasant, culturally relevant, and politically correct things.

4 and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

And indeed from what is right about God they shall turn away their ears and shall twist them upon myths and politically correct fables.

The remedy for this malady is in the hand of the Christian believer.

Titus 1:10  For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision:

For there are many of those who are unable to submit themselves to what is righteous. There are vain babblers who are talking garbage.

Much television is a prime example of worthless and empty gibberish, which bring with it subliminal unrighteous agendas that inoculate deceptive knowledge into the minds of the viewers.

The word for deceivers, which only appears once in the Bible, is a quite interesting one.  It is the person who injects deception into the thought life, viewpoints, and mindsets of others.

Today, in the “main stream media” we readily see this. There is an attack on the attitudes of many distracted and gullible Americans by astute journalists, who mar their judgments, turn them against supporting the very foundations which made America great, and conquer the country from within.

My father would always admonish me, “Don’t follow the crowds because they are usually wrong.”

The communist leader Nikita Khrushchev said this about America in the late 1950’s. “ We will conquer you from within, without weapons.”

Jesus gave us the game plan for the final two minute warning. Notice that when the final cataclysm comes, humanity will neither have an advance warning system of it, or any intuition or instinct of its impending arrival. Many will be unfortunately trapped.

Matt 24:37  But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

38  For as in the days that were before the flood ( cataclysm)  they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

39  And knew not ( they had absolutely no previously acquired knowledge or advance warning system of the coming of this cataclysm) until the flood ( cataclysm) came, and took them all away ( lifts off and away all of them); so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

42  Watch therefore ( be constantly watching): for ye know not ( you will have absolutely no intuition or instinct of) what hour your Lord doth come.

Happy Mother’s Day, Mother America!

A grave misjudgment occurs in America. It’s not simple confusion. There is a higher agenda at work. Under chic clichés: “separation of church of state”, “political correctness “and “not to offend, but to respect”, sinister forces toil within our country. Their focus is to strip the foundations which made America great.

Ps 11:3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?

Without the doctrines which define this country, we are a proverbial chicken with its head cut off. I have seen a headless chicken. Aimlessly it runs, easily it is captured and killed.

Col 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

A head, owns the brain, the eyes and ears. The head is the guiding, planning and seeing principle of a body and a people. Christ Jesus is the head of the body of Christ. Christ has been the head of America. So it was on this head that this nation was founded upon. The head, Christ Jesus, has steered our country soundly.

Under the emblem of “separation of church and state”, powers now conspire to cut off this head and reduce America into a frenzied chicken easily snagged, killed and cooked.

Political correctness is used by devil to shred the foundations which made our country what it was.  He tempts unassuming people to be politically correct  under the mask of accommodation, tolerance and respect. At the end, those whom we try to accommodate despise us for not being loyal to our values.

The work of political correctness in Satan’s hands is not accommodation or tolerance, but for this country to give up her rights to what made her great. A house without foundations will fall. Make no mistake, this is political correctness’s hidden agenda.

We are not fighting a battle against human beings but against  invisible evil forces set in heavenly locations. Satan’s goal is to eradicate America  of its Judeo Christian fundamentals, craft deception, birth confusion, and produce a secular nation from what once was the greatest gospel carrying, mission minded country.

The devil’s goal is to weaken the church, take many to hell and introduce the antichrist.

Don’t be fooled.  We can have absolute liberty for all religions, and the lack thereof and still cleave to our head. No religion needs endorsement, but our head must be preserved on our neck. If the devil succeeds in chopping this head, chaos will break and aliens to our values,  who never let a good crisis go to waste, will seize it.

These truisms “separation of church of state”, “political correctness” and “not to offend, but to respect” are head chopping instruments! Beware!

The arrogance of western nations is to congratulate themselves in their varied opinions, many viewpoints, and accommodating beliefs. Westernized people pride themselves in being opinionated. The plethora of their opinions mean little if not in agreement with God’s truths. In reality, many opinions exacerbate deception and distraction from the one voice of God.

When I lived in Kenya, the Muslim call to pray in the early morning daily woke me up. It irked because the prayers blared over loudspeakers and into my open windows. We call this noise pollution, but I respected that Muslims had more passion than I to wake up and pray. I was not offended by it. I was not irreparably damaged by the blasting noise. Baloney to those who claim irreparably damage by the mention of Jesus Christ. It’s just another ploy. The name of Allah did not wound me in Tanzania, Uganda or Kenya.

There is no Muslim nation that relinquishes the worship of Allah to put the worship of Jesus next to it. For them, Allah is the head, and they hold on to it.  There is no Muslim populace which apologizes for its beliefs. There are no “politically correct” Muslim countries.

The notion of offending people is more a figment of our own cowardly imagination than realism. Folk are much less offended than what we think. People respect those who hold on to standards and principles which define them.

Offense ensues from the very ones whom we cower and bow down to in the guise of political correctness and the fear of offending.

What does a girl think of a guy who is insecure, apologetic, and bashful? Heck, she has no respect! What generates admiration? Confidence, assurance, convictions and principles. Fear breeds contempt. Courage breeds respect. We have incubated the contempt of others by our spineless timidity to accommodate and not offend.

God is using the very rebuff of Him by America, to open a door of deception  back upon the country which this rejection brings. The deception begets spiritual  darkness which actualizes bondage upon people. The darkness and bondage results in aimless confusion and America’s eventual despair. God employs  America’s despair to test and sift the heart and soul of the country. So far America as she is being tested, has yet not realized, that her only way out of the mess is to turn back to God.

Human nature only seeks God when everything else fails. Every other penchant will fail, if it’s not God.  Our country is still experimenting with every other preference except God. They will all fail.

Meanwhile, God allows our own perpetrated antics which leave Him out of the picture to continue to sift and test us. The problems of America are not financial or political. They are God problems, or problems which America has contrived by rejecting God.   America is not in a financial crisis, it is in a God crisis. Part of its fix is in the hands of the church. The body of Christ has been called to be salt and light from above to lead America out of her self inflicted despair.

The consequences of rejecting the author of life, light, and freedom is just the  opposite; death, darkness and bondage.

America’s  dismissal of a God specified morality founded on His wisdom, love and freedom, is now  forcing the country to create its own. Look at our public institutions. No soft drinks. Food is being regulated by  public schools and not  parents. Massachusetts is banning bake sales, in the name of health.

Whereas God’s principles are outfitted by Him to produce freedom and wholeness which comes by faith and obedience to His voice,  America’s self-promulgated morality is fear based.

One of America’s idols is safety. We are a safety crazed nation,  a principle which is propelled by those who have lost their faith.

Trust in God puts safety second before obedience to Him, knowing that the safest place to be is in His will.

The opposite of faith is fear. Faith is a risk taker, it’s exploratory, brave, and audacious.  A vacuüm of faith cultivates mistrust, which nurtures a need for safety and self-protection. America once  a nation of adventurous, exploratory entrepreneurs is  now  safety motivated, and protection minded by  fear driven people. This is the aftermath of snubbing  God for our own conceits.

The church must set the example of godly audacity, fearlessness and perform the exploits which faith brings.  The church must become salt and light and a leader of America to bring he into faith and out of fear.

God is the great protector of our nation. When we reject Him, we lose His mighty protection and find ourselves cowardly running to our own.

Many of our dietary regulations are fear based and safety driven. I am not against good health. I am against the idol which it creates because we put our trust in fear generated safety,  rather than the safety which trust in God creates.

Only Christ, can create, a titanium spine, as was once stated of  Michelle Bachman.  Without Christ, our head, our strength and our power are no more. America is in danger of succumbing to the spine of a jellyfish.

Ultimately, the holding of this nation’s head, Christ, is in the hands and on the neck of the church. In Kenya, the church is powerful enough to influence much of the decisions which the government makes. The Kenyan parliament knows that if the church votes against, many are out of a job.

Yesterday we were watching, “Driving Miss Daisy”.  In the film there was a speech given by Martin Luther King, and I quote.

“History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the vitriolic words and the violent actions of the bad people, but the appalling silence and indifference of the good people. Our generation will have to repent not only for the words and acts of the children of darkness, but also for the fears and apathy of the children of light.”

Does it sound like the church of 2012?

So on this day, I not only say Happy Mother’s Day to the hundreds an even thousands of wonderful mothers, and mothers to be, which God has graced my family to know all over the globe.

I say Happy Mother’s Day to Mother America.

God bless America,

Land that I love.

Stand beside her, and guide her

Through the night with a light from above.

From the mountains, to the prairies,

To the oceans, white with foam

God bless America, My home sweet home

God bless America, My home sweet home
